Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Retrieve the Savior’s Amulet Side Mission Walkthrough

Retrieve the Savior’s Amulet is a Side Mission in Shadow of the Tomb Raider and the second one of Hearts and Minds mission line. This walkthrough shows how to complete this Quest.

Quest Location – Retrieve the Savior’s Amulet

After finding the King’s Horn you will be granted with the 2nd part of the side mission. This time around you will have to retrieve an amulet, which a boy namend Quenti was supposed to get, but hasn’t returned yet.

Objectives – Find the White Tree / Climb the cliff / Enter the Cave

You will be told about the entrance to a cistern being located on top of the cliff next to the white tree. Head to the location marked on your map and climb the white tree there.

Continue on the only path there until you reach the cave entrance, you can also grab some collectibles on the way here.

Objectives – Search and Reach Mankos’s remains / Retrieve the proof that Manko has been found

In the cave you will first have to avoid some pretty obvious traps which will glow red when you use your instincts. Once reaching a bridge just in front of your objective, it will collapse. Lara will drop into the water and will have to finish some swimming sections in order to proceed.

You will find yourself swimming from room to room, from right to left in the cistern. In each room you will have to activate a lever to raise the water level in the cistern. In the third and final room you will first have to tear down a wooden barricade with your rope and once you activate the level, the door you came from will close. This time you will have to leave the room by a hole in the ceiling.

Once all three levers have been activated, the cistern will be full enough for you to be able to reach Manko’s remains, which are what you were looking for: Savior’s Amulet.

Objective – Return to Unuratu’s Hideout (Skull Cave) with the Savior’s Amulet

Once you have returned the Amulet to Ushu you will have finished the quest and you will receive the Hearts and Minds  trophy.
