Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Last Emperor Walkthrough

Last Emperor is the fifteenth Story Mission in Shadow of the Tomb Raider. This walkthrough will guide you through the whole Last Emperor mission.

Follow Unuratu

Conveniently, Unuratu’s cell has a good point to break out.

While she takes the lead, we have to follow her.

There are only two enemies on our way and both can be pulled down from the ledge.

Unuratu manages fine by herself and clears the bridge.

At the gate back into the building, we are going to be separated for a second, but

again, she manages fine on her own and got herself a matching disguise.

We are headed for the Tomb of former leader Sinchi Chiqa, which lays not too far away. We have to slowly walk through the crowd and can watch Dominguez sacrifice one of our allied rebel fighters.

The entrance to the grave is located to the right of the area and the guards will let us in with the phrase we learned from Etzli earlier.

Reach the Tomb of Sinchi Chiqa

The traversal into the tomb is quite simple. Climb up the left side onto his open hand,

swing over to his other hand

and grapple the ledge into the opening of the building itself.

Explore the Tomb of Sinchi Chiqa

Inside, Lara learns another clue, which she yet can’t really put into the whole puzzle.

She hears a fight breaking out in the courtyard and Unuratu gets overrun by Trinity/Cultists.

Scumbag-Commander Rourke brought automatic weapons to a bow-fight

and our trusted companion dies.

Defeat the Cultist Warriors

The courtyard will be flooded with soldiers again. Make use of your instinct , to reveal enemies in yellow, which can be killed without alerting anyone.

Try to pick off as many enemies silently as possible, like from the vines near the exit.

If all else fails, get out your AK and blast your way out.

Find Jonah

When the fight is over, Jonah is waiting at the docks nearby. Etzli arrives as well and Lara informs him about the death of his mother and hands over the Leader’s Amulet.

Lara & Jonah want to regroup in Kuwaq Yaku and plan on their next moves, but are attacked by a Trinity helicopter.

We lose contact with Jonah, but will be attacked immediately when getting back to dry grounds.

The Last Emperor main mission concludes here and directly continues with Downpour.
