Empty-Handed is the thirteenth Story Mission in Shadow of the Tomb Raider. This walkthrough will guide you through the whole Empty-Handed mission. It is one of the shortest in the game and will hardly take longer than five minutes in total.
Region: Cenote
Quest Giver: automatic
Requirement: having finished Eye of the Serpent
Trophy: The Underworld
Escape the Cenote
Cave collapsing and monsters behind you? Sounds like a good idea to get out of there.
The whole chase barely lasts longer than one minute and is very linear. Just make sure to use the grappling hooks when suggested.
Don’t get distracted by explosions and
watch out for suddenly collapsing parts of the floor and jump above the gaps.
A few swings and
correctly times jumps
and this whole thing is already over. Lara climbs over a slope and slides down into the water.
Return to Paititi
Here is where we will get a trophy and have to make a dive out of this area.
When getting out of the water, another climbing passage will await us.
Bummer that we can’t climb overhead yet. Seems like we have to continue to climb to the right and find another way out.
Well, hello, what do we have here?
Some new shiny gear to make it out of the cave.
The final ascent out of the cave is part of the next mission, Rebellion Lives. This concludes the Empty-Handed Main Mission Walkthrough.
