Destiny 2 Exotic Gear: Celestial Nighthawk (Hunter Helmet)

September 7, 2017 by imbroken963 6 Comments

The Celestial Nighthawk is an Exotic Gear Piece in Destiny 2 for Hunters.

It’s a random drop from Quests, PVE and PVP.

  • Exotic Name: Celestial Nighthawk
  • Type: Helmet (Hunter)
  • Item Description: Starlight is your guide. No vacuum will contain you.
  • Special Ability #1: Hawkeye Hack — Modifies Golden Gun to fire a single, high-damage shot. Enemies eliminated by the shot explode.
  • Special Ability #2: Class abilities recharge faster when using a Solar subclass.
  • Acquired by: Random drop from Quests, PVE & PVP. It has a chance to drop from Shaxx’s Call to Arms quest (talk to him in the Farm and complete a few Crucible Matches), and it can also come from the post-story main mission in the tower (it gives one exotic engram which contains one random item).

Terrible exotic. Reduces your golden gun to one shot and the resulting explosion does minimal damage to surrounding enemies

idk what you’re talking about. its an awesome exotic. In the nightfall i hit a precision headshot and took down the boss in one shot when he had a full last bar left. that single shot does amazing damage if you hit a precision shot.

You are clearly inexperienced. It’s best in slot for raiding hunters. Like bar none.

Golden Gun alone isn’t meant for killing trash mobs. It’s meant to burst down bosses. The Nighthawk exotic increases the damage into one shot. A single precision shot with this exotic on a boss does an amazing amount of damage. It’s perfect for raids and Nightfalls.
