The Foetracer is an Exotic Gear Piece in Destiny 2 for Hunters.
It’s a random drop from Quests, Heroic Public Events, PVE and PVP.
- Exotic Name: Foetracer
- Type: Helmet (Hunter)
- Item Description: “I see you”.
- Special Ability #1: Relentless Tracker — Visually marks targeted enemies. Deals more damage to low health marked enemies.
- Special Ability #2: Improves weapon handling for equipped Energy weapon.
- Acquired by: Random drop from Quests, PVE & PVP. It has a chance to drop from Shaxx’s Call to Arms quest (talk to him in the Farm and complete a few Crucible Matches), and it can also come from the post-story main mission in the tower (it gives one exotic engram which contains one random item). Heroic Public Events also have good drop rates.

It can drop anywhere, very random.
Your best bet is PVP and sometimes you get very lucky public events or boss enemies. Some quests also give a random exotic at the end. For example Shaxx’s Call to Arms (talk to him at the Farm and complete a few Crucible Matches) can award you with this exotic. There’s also a random exotic for completing the post-story main mission in the tower.
