Final Fantasy 7 (VII) Rebirth My White-Haired Angel Walkthrough

My White-Haired Angel is a side quest in Final Fantasy 7 (VII) Rebirth. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the My White-Haired Angel Side Mission (Odd Job). It’s also known as the Head Chef’s Request. It requires you to find Fluffy the cat, then escort her back to Nibelheim whilst defeating some fiends, then playing piano.

My White-Haired Angel becomes available at the end of Chapter 11, when you completed the main objectives in that chapter and get the objective “Smoke Sent Up”.

Area: Nibelheim – Village Kitchen (Water Tower Square) or check the Nibelheim Noticeboard.
Quest Giver: Head Chef
Requirement: Unlocked at the end of Chapter 11, when you completed the main objectives in that chapter and get the objective “Smoke Sent Up”.
Reward: Way of the Fist Vol. V, Tifa Relationship Strengthened, 10 Party EXP, Player EXP (scaled to your level)
Mission Info: The darling little cat I feed from time to time hasn’t come around for a while, and it’s making me sick with worry. I know they can be independent souls, but she’s never been one to turn down a good meal…

• Follow Fluffy
• Bring the Cats Home
• Follow Fluffy
• Perform with the Villagers

Starting Location: My White-Haired Angel (Head Chef’s Request)

Track Down the Head Chef’s Cat

The cat is located on Mt. Nibel. Instead of heading north past Shinra Manor towards the reactor, you’ll be heading east from the Mt. Nibel Gate entrance. The cat is located at Mt. Nibel Southern Ascent.

Approach it for some dialogue and you’ll automatically give the cat some food.

Defeat the Fiends

You’ll then have to defeat four Guard Bees.

Follow Fluffy

Now follow Fluffy back to the west. You’ll have to defeat another group of Guard Bees, then a Queen Bee surrounded by more Guard Bees.

Bring the Cats Home

Next, you’ll have to get back to Nibelheim whilst escorting Fluffy and her kittens. Unfortunately, if you sprint then you’ll lose sight of her while she follows you, so you can only go at normal running speed. Thankfully, there are no enemies on the way.

Follow Fluffy

Follow Fluffy into Tifa’s House (Treatment Center) and head upstairs. Fluffy is next to the Head Chef playing the piano.

Perform with the Villagers

Interact with the piano right in front of you and you’ll collect Music Sheet “Aerith’s Theme”. You’ll then have to perform the song on the piano, although this time any rank is fine to complete the quest.
