Final Fantasy 7 (VII) Rendezvous in Costa del Sol Walkthrough

Rendezvous in Costa del Sol is a side quest in Final Fantasy 7 (VII) Rebirth. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Rendezvous in Costa del Sol Side Mission (Odd Job). It’s also known as the Fashionista’s Request. It requires you to participate in some date activities with Aerith to inspire a fashion show.

Rendezvous in Costa del Sol becomes available at the Costa del Sol Community Noticeboard after starting Chapter 7.

Reward: The Art of Swordplay Vol. II (10 Cloud SP), Aerith Relationship Strengthened, 10 Party EXP, Player EXP (scaled to your level)
Mission Info: Hey lovebirds, we need your help in creating our next line of classic swimwear! All you have to do is go on a very special date we’ve planned that’s sure to bring you and your partner closer together than ever. So come and see us on the beach if you’re in the mood for romance!

• Meet Up with Yorda
• Head to Clamshell Beach
• Gather Shells
• Deliver a Shell
• Attend the Fashion Showcase

Starting Location: Rendezvous in Costa del Sol (The Fashionista’s Request)

You can accept the Odd Job from the Community Noticeboard in Costa del Sol, or you can go directly to the quest givers at the beach of Costa Beach.

Check out Fran and Naomi’s Date Activities

You will need to play both Pirate’s Rampage and Run Wild minigames in Costa del Sol. For Pirate’s Rampage you will play a Ghost Ship variant of it, where your accuracy will matter. If you score 18,000 points you’ll unlock the Armor: Abyssal Bangle.

For Run Wild you will have a Time Trial, where you will need to score goals in the correct order quickly.

Meet Up with Yorda

Now head outside Costa del Sol to the Rent-a-Bird Stables to find Yorda.

Head to Clamshell Beach

Head down to Clamshell Beach, then defeat the Barnaclaws.

Gather Shells

Mount your chocobo and search for shells with when an orange “?” icon appears. There are a bunch of dig spots here, some will contain 3 gil while others will have a Barnaclaw. Just keep searching and you will find the shells.

Deliver a Shell

Now return to Yorda and give her one of the shells. The gigantopod shell will give the best result.

Attend the Fashion Showcase

Return to Costa Beach for the show.
