From the Ashes is a side quest in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the From the Ashes side mission.

- Quest Giver: Matsu
- Reward: 1000EXP
- Quest Description: Naoe revisits her childhood home to discover her wise old Auntie Matsu might still be alive.
Starting Location: From the Ashes
Interact with the letter in Naoe’s old home in Iga region. (You might also need to have done Naoe’s second 
Kuji-kiri, during which you get a flashback that shows her home from the past.)
Find Matsu
After interacting with the letter in Naoe’s childhood home, go to the Hinotani Shrine in Iga and talk to Matsu.
This finishes From the Ashes side quest in Assassin’s Creed Shadows.
