Belly of the Beast is the 20th main quest in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Belly of the Beast main mission.

- Requirement: Complete the quest Friend of My Enemy.

- Quest Description: Lord Mitsuhide’s son-in-law and co-conspirator, Lord Ise Sadaoki, has a task that will help Naoe gain entry to Honnoji.
Report to Ise Sadaoki
Find this quest on the Objectives Board. Under the Onryo group, scroll below Oda Shinbakufu and select the quest.
You have to make a long trek north to a new region: Yamashiro.
If you haven’t done much exploration, then the easiest path to take is along the west side of the river. A road runs the entire way from Takatsuki. You can reach Takatsuki by going northwest from your hideout. You can put a map marker, call your horse and hold 
to use the pathfinder, follow the white line along the roads.
You eventually reach Kyoto.
When you get here, activate the fast travel point at Toji Temple.
Find Ise Sadaoki underneath the bridge on the east side of town.
This prompts a dialogue option:
- [I have offended you.]
- [I will show you my skills.]
Choose whichever you like better. The choice doesn’t change the outcome.
Retrieve the papers
Delivery Papers: Go north until you reach the north side of Honnoji Temple.
On the south side of the southeast corner of the enclosure just north of Honnoji Temple is a hole in the wall. Go through there.
You only need to worry about the one enemy patrolling by the building to your left and the one guard standing on the south side of said building.
Take out the patrol with a kunai and then go assassinate the guard at the door.
Take the first door into the building. A man stands in the far corner, looking out the window.
Assassinate that man and then take the papers from the table in front of him.
Now, leave this enclosure and then use the fast travel point at Toji Temple. Then head east to speak to Ise Sadaoki.
