- Quest Description: Ashikaga Yoshiaki, the ousted shogun, is the mysterious figure behind the Shinbakufu. Yoshiaki formed an alliance of the ruthless and ambitious, promising each a place in his restored shogunate.
Assassinate Ashikaga Yoshiaki
To track The Man Behind the Mask, navigate to the Objectives Board. Scroll to the Shinbakufu group and select the quest in the Ashikaga Yoshiaki thumbnail.
The final member of the Shinbakufu is found in the Kuramadera Temple, at the top of the mountain in the Genbu Highlands. You get there by heading north from Kyoto.
He sits out in the open in front of the temple. There is no sneaking up on him.
