A Talk With a Lady is the 36th main quest in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the A Talk With a Lady main mission.

- Quest Giver: Available automatically after completing the quest Mibuno Showdown (finished Act 1)
- Requirement: Available immediately after completing the quest Mibuno Showdown (finished Act 1)
- Recommended Level: 21
- Reward: 1000 EXP
- Quest Description: Lady Oichi has invited Yasuke to Omi Province to discuss her brother’s death.
Meet with Lady Oichi
You can track this quest using the Objectives Board. Scroll to the Shinbakufu and select the quest underneath The Mourner.
If you haven’t done much exploring in the Omi region, just grab a boat in Lake Biwa and travel northeast. Sagamoto is a good place to find a boat, since one sits just below the viewpoint.
The Goshiki Outlands are just a short jaunt away from Nagahama.
While on your way, you might as well grab the fast travel point out in the middle of Lake Biwa.
Since you’re likely visiting Nagahama for the first time, grab the fast travel point at the top of Nagahama Castle.
Omi is located in the Odani Ruins directly northeast of Nagahama. You will see a Viewpoint appear on the map when you get close.
You must be Yasuke before progressing. If needed, switch characters by pressing Options and holding 
/

When you talk to Kuma, he gives you the dialogue choice to meet Lady Oichi. You cannot progress the quest if you do not choose “I will meet Lady Oichi.”
Follow Kuma
Kuma leads you into the house. Even though this is a very short walk, you can still auto-follow Kuma, if you wish.
Talk to Kuma
When he stops walking, speak with him.
While talking to Lady Oichi, you get a dialogue choice:
- [The Shinbakufu are our enemies.]
- [The Shinbakufu are powerful.]
These choices do not affect the story. Choose whichever you like better.
She asks about her brother’s death:
- [Your brother died bravely.]
- [It was horrible.]
These choices only vary her response slightly, but they do not affect the story.
In the next cutscene, you get the choice to play as Yasuke or Naoe. Choose whichever gameplay style you prefer.
