A Collection of Crests is an optional quest in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of A Collection of Crests mission.

- Quest Description: Ota Gyuichi, former samurai and scribe to Oda Nobunaga, is collecting clan crests to aid in the writing of his histories.
Retrieve all clan crests (9)
This quest starts by going to the “!” marker in Yamashiro > Kyoto. Talk to Ota Gyuichi to start the quest, then it can be tracked from the objectives board.
Note: It’s possible to collect all of these crests before starting this quest. Also, only Yasuke can complete this quest.
Ota first gives a dialogue choice:
- [I was fortunate to be there.]
- [I’m fortunate to still be standing.]
These options don’t change the outcome of the quest. Choose whichever you like.
