Secrets of the Blade is a main quest in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. If you already did Naoe’s storyline, it will appear after the 63rd main quest Wolves and Foxes. If you haven’t done Naoe’s story, you will be forced to do it later during Act 3 to finish Naoe’s storyline, hence the quest can appear in varying order at different points in the game.

Reach the Tomb of the Ancients
To track Secrets of the Blade, navigate to the Objectives Board. Scroll to the Naoe group and select the quest underneath The Assassins (Naoe).
The Tomb of the Ancients resides due east of Sakai.
Approach the southside of the upheaval and squeeze your way through the crevice. You have entered Old Kofun.
Find clues about Tsuyu
Descend until you come across a chest and a note.
Go prone and crawl into the gap below the rock.
Follow along the linear path, going deeper into the kofun.
Eventually you reach an opening with a pool of water.
Use the swing point in the ceiling to swing across the gap.
Head down the stairs, and take a left. Open the chest.
Turn around and then squeeze through the crevice.
On the other side, jump into the water and descend.
Swim down and through the opening. This takes you back above water.
You find another opening with a pool of water. Like the last one, use the grapple point to swing across the gap.
Immediately after this, you find a split in the path, forward and right. It’s also worth mentioning that the candles in this place are not already lit. You must light them.
Go right, which leads you up and to another gap with a grapple point.
Swing across and open the chest.
Then, make your way back to that split in the path. Now, go right.
In the next open area, turn left and crawl through the opening.
In the next opening, go right.
You end up in a large room with a larger pool of water.
Use one grapple point to swing. Then jump from that swing and grab a second grapple point to clear the gap.
Open the chest in front of you.
Then, turn left and continue down the path.
Climb up a little bit until the grapple icon appears. Press it and climb up the rest of the way.
Follow this path until you reach a door with the Assassin’s icon on it. Open it.
You soon come to an open area with pedestals. Turn left to grab a book.
Talk to Yasuke
Before you leave, go forward and grab the assassin’s armor.
Head back up the path and through the crevice. Then, look at the wall to your left to find a gap.
Throw a kunai at the explosive jars. This opens the path to the entrance.
This finishes Secrets of the Blade in Assassin’s Creed Shadows.
