Far Cry 5 – Dinner Time Story Mission Walkthrough

Dinner Time is a Story Mission in Far Cry 5. This walkthrough shows how to complete this Quest.

Region: Whitetail Mountains (Jacob’s Region)
Area: east of Baron Lumber Mill
Quest Giver: Dr. Sarah Perkins
Requirement: having liberated Baron Lumber Mill
Reward: 600 RP & 400 $

Objectives:

  • Reach Breakthrough Camp
  • Secure the area
  • Standby until Dr. Perkins arrives
  • Open the Gate to the Pen
  • Trap a roaming Judge Wolf in the Pen
  • (optional) Place a trainer body in trough


East of the Baron Lumber Mill, Dr. Perkins has set up a camp and initially wanted to study regular wolves, until she came across the mutated versions which the cult is breeding. To study their behavior, she wants us to trap a living one and sends us to a camp, where these so-called Judges are being trained.

The camp itself features roughly ten enemies and you should approach it as pretty much any outpost. Try to pick off as many guards who are standing isolated and try to stay hidden as long as possible. When you are discovered and already have thinned out their numbers, it gets considerably easier. Make use of your favorite Guns/Fangs for Hire to cause some distractions, if you like.

Once the area is cleared, Dr. Perkins will come into the camp itself and give us instructions on how to capture one of the mutated wolves.

We have to open the pen :square: and try to lure in a wolf by engaging him in combat and running in the pen. Make sure to dismiss your Guns/Fangs for Hire, before they will eventually kill your target. But even if they do, Dr. Perkins has a new tip: Place a body of one of their trainers in the pen and ring the dinner bell. This will attract a new wolf.

Once he sees you, sprint into the pen, turn 180° and jump on the boxes and out of the pen and close it immediately.

This way the wolf will be trapped and Dr. Perkins has what she asked for.
