Only Fools Want War is a Side Quest in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. This walkthrough shows how to complete the quest.

• Deliver the Athenian Seals to Lysander

Only Fools Want War Starting Location

In the middle of Sparta, you will see Spartan Commander Lysander giving another speech to his soldiers.

Gather Athenian Seals

This quest is an exact copy of the previous one by Lysander. To complete it, you have to kill three more Polemarches from Forts under Athenian control.

The good thing is, that you can farm the same three Polemarchs from the last time you did the quest. You have to quit and restart the game – this will respawn them at their locations.

In case you forgot what you had to do, here is the quick run-down:

Check your map  for regions under Athenian control (seen by the blue outline).

To spot a fort on the map, watch out for this symbol:

Fast-travel to any eligible location and use your bird  to scan the surroundings for Polemarchs – they are the big ones with the double yellow line around their level:


How you approach and kill them is very much up to you. In open combat, or even letting them kill themselves through set brazier-traps,

or in solitude. Just remember to loot them.

Doing so will give you the needed Quest Items.

Once you have obtained three, you can return to Lysander once again.

Deliver the Athenian Seals to Lysander

Fast-travel back to Sparta and talk to Lysander to finish this quest. He offers more follow-up quests which are exactly like this and the previous one. They are called Rise Through the Ranks, The Cost of War & Know Your Enemy. If you are not bored yet, you can accept them. If you are, continue with other quests in the area – there are plenty!
