The Gates of Atlantis Starting Location
The Gates of Atlantis triggers automatically after finishing A Family’s Legacy on Thera island (having discovered Atlantis and spoke with Pythagoras).
Artifact Location in Boeotia (Sphinx)
The Sphinx is part of a questline. Complete the Side Quests “Lore of the Sphinx” (Boeotia Region) > “Awaken the Myth” (Boeotia Region). These quests are given to you automatically when The Gates of Atlantis quest begins and you’ll encounter the Sphinx at the end of it.
She is then found in Boeotia Region:
She asks a series of 3 questions which you must answer correctly and remember your answers. Then input your answers in the pressure pads around the Sphinx. If you need the riddle solutions, all of them are found here: Sphinx Riddle Solutions.
Artifact Location in Kythera (Cyclops)
Cyclops is found on the Forgotten Isle. He’s only accessible via a questline: “A God Among Men” (Kythera Island) > “Left to Dye” (Kythera Island) > “Stairway to Olympos” (Kythera Island). Do these quests on Kythera (island at bottom of the map) and it will bring you to the Cyclops.

Artifact Location in Lesbos (Medusa)
Medusa is found on Lesbos, in the Petrified Temple area. Medusa is part of a series of side quests on Lesbos island: “Romancing the Stone Garden” (Lesbos Island) > “Love’s Long Shadow” > “Hard to Artemis” > “Heavy is the Spear” > “Keys to Happiness?” > “Writhing Dead”.
At the end of the questline you can go inside the Petrified Temple and will encounter Medusa there.

Artifact Location in Messara (Minotaur)
Minotaur is found in Messara Region, inside the Labyrinth of Lost Souls. He too is part of a series of side quests, all take place in Messara: “Myths and Minotaurs” (Messara Island) > “Of Minotaurs and Men” (Messara Island) > “He Waits” (Messara Island).
At the end of this questline you go inside the Labyrinth and find Minotaur at the end of it.

Seal Atlantis
Now that you have all 4 Artifacts, head back to Atlantis. There are 4 big pillars where Pythagoras stands. Insert the Artifacts in the Pillars and you’ll hear a woman of the first civilization talking for a few minutes. Afterwards you must climb up the right side of the area to a room with 3 mirrors. Move the 3 mirrors so they reflect the beam of light to the triangle-shaped artifact where Pythagoras stands. Then a present-day cutscene triggers and you get to see the ending of the first civilization story arc.
