Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Legendary Chest Locations Map

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey has 16 Legendary Chests that contain Legendary Gear. This guide contains a map that shows where to find all Legendary Chests.

These chests are the best in the game. The gear in them is always legendary (golden rarity), which you also need to complete legendary armor and weapon sets. None of them are missable. You can still go find these after the story in free-roam. You can get them in any order you like, they are accessible any time.

The Ubisoft Store lets you buy a time saver item called “Legendary Chest Map” which lets you mark them in-game. However, it costs real money (microtransaction), so instead of doing that you can refer to the maps below. There’s one full world map with the chests circled in red and zoomed-in images of each location. Legendary Chests are marked with a blue chest icon: .

If you have trouble finding one of them, use your eagle to mark nearby collectibles. They are usually in “question mark” locations which get marked on the map when getting close enough (most often enemy camps, caves or underwater locations).

#6 – Attika: Silver Mountain (deep inside the silver mine)

#10 – Messenia: Mines of the Great Trench

#15 – Thera: In the Underwater Location north of Thera Island. The underwater location gets marked by a “question mark icon” when you get near it with your ship. Then use your eagle to mark the underwater treasures.

And that’s all 16 Legendary Chest Locations you can find in AC Odyssey. This gives you some of the best gear in the game. More legendary gear pieces are dropped by each of the 42 Cultists.
