Atlantis is a secret area in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. This guide explains where to find the Atlantis location in ACOD.
Required Steps
- Beat Main Quest “United Front” in Story Sequence 7. This automatically triggers Side Quest “A Family’s Legacy“.
- Complete Side Quest “A Family’s Legacy“. This can be selected from the quest log and leads to the island of Thera. At the end of the quest you find Atlantis.

Location
Below is the Atlantis Location on the world map:
On Thera there’s a huge sealed door. It’s the entrance to Atlantis. The associated side quest A Family’s Legacy requires you to scan the area with your eagle to find an Ancient Tablet (it’s a level 27 quest). Then you must follow the beam of light behind the giant door and redirect it from one mirror to the next until it hits the giant door. Inside, there are two quick platforming sections and then you’ll meet Pythagoras. He wants you to help protect Atlantis. This opens up the main storyline “Between Two Worlds” (First Civilization Branch) and the questline “The Gates of Atlantis“. You must kill the 4 World Bosses for their artifacts: Medusa, Minotaur, Cyclops, Sphynx. This is endgame stuff for when you’re level 50 after the story.

I already opened the door a while ago in the game, I just can’t figure out how to get BACK into the room as the door will not open anymore.
you haven not opened the door and killed the thing inside, if you had opened then you wouldn’t say that.
