Lies of P All Blade Upgrade Material Locations

Lies of P contains 108 Blade Upgrade Material Locations. Blade Upgrade Materials are needed to upgrade Normal Weapons to +10 and Special Weapons to +5 and are often dropped by Dimensional Butterflies. This is needed for both the trophies & achievements Strongest Normal Weapon and Strongest Special Weapon. Below is the location of all Blade Upgrade Materials and how to obtain them in chronological order.

Cerasani Alley

1. Hidden Moonstone: Near the entrance to Hotel Krat.

Elysion Boulevard Entrance

1. Hidden Moonstone: After walking across two rooftops via a wooden beam near a shooting puppet, climb down the ladder and you’ll find this in a corner.

Inside the House on Elysion Boulevard

1. Hidden Moonstone: In one of the alleys you can reach by climbing down one of the two ladders shortly after the Stargazer, near a dog in a corner.
2. Hidden Moonstone: Now continue on past the dog and into the next alley with the spotlight. After defeating two puppets, you can find this by a wooden door.
3. Hidden Moonstone: Dropped by a Dimensional Butterfly in your path
4. Hidden Moonstone: After speaking with Geppetto, check behind the cart on the left.

Workshop Union Culvert

1. Hidden Moonstone: After defeating the Survivor boss, go through the door and into the next tunnel to find this at the end. Now continue through the next tunnel to be back at the Stargazer.
2. Hidden Moonstone: From the Stargazer, now go through the red pipe to enter an area with corrupted water. If you get Corrupted, your health will slowly diminish, so be careful. At the end of this section, in a corner, is a Hidden Moonstone.

Workshop Union Entrance (Part 2)

1. Hidden Moonstone: In the same area as the Puppet of the Future boss

Venigni Works Control Room

1. Hidden Moonstone: Return to the Red Fox and Black Cat and head up the stairs. Continue on until you’re in a room with another burning shovel-wielding elite puppet. In a corner, past a standard black puppet, is this Blade Upgrade Material.

Center of Venigni Works

1. Dark moon Moonstone of the Covenant:
   In thee mine, approach the wooden barricade on the wall to your right. Let the puppet destroy it, then proceed to pick this up.
2. Hidden Moonstone: Opposite the previous upgrade material, near two pickaxe-wielding puppets.

Moonlight Town

1. Crescent Moonstone: From the Stargazer, continue uphill, cross the bridge and let yourself drop through the hole. Now continue along the river bed to find a Dimensional Butterfly which drops this.
2. Crescent Moonstone: Dropped by another Dimensional Butterfly in the same area.

Path of Misery

1. Hidden Moonstone: From the Stargazer, continue on and you’ll find this under the broken structure.

St. Frangelico Cathedral Chapel

1. Hidden Moonstone: Continue along the main path until you reach an area with decayed water and some demonic puppets. Make your way to the top until you see a bigger demonic puppet throwing decay at you. After defeating him, continue up the ladder, then destroy the crates and drop down.
2. Crescent Moonstone: Continue along the main path until you get to a section where you need to jump across some moving gears. When you reach the other side, kick the brazier and then head left to find another ladder. Continue on to find this Crescent Moonstone.

St. Frangelico Cathedral Library

1. Crescent Moonstone: You’ll find this near a wooden table on the main path.

Hotel Krat

1. Hidden Moonstone: Can be bought from Polendina after returning the Krat Supply Box found at St. Frangelico Cathedral Chapel.
2. Dark moon Moonstone of the Covenant: Can be bought from Polendina after returning the Krat Supply Box found at St. Frangelico Cathedral Chapel.

Path of the Pilgrim

1. Hidden Moonstone: Behind two enemies at the end of the slope after the Stargazer.
2. Dark moon Moonstone of the Covenant: Dropped by the Dimensional Butterfly you find in a lake just before the wooden village.
3. Hidden Moonstone: Around the same lake.
4. Dark moon Moonstone of the Covenant: After activating the shortcut back to the Stargazer, go back down using the elevator and step off mid-way to find this on a rooftop.

Malum District

1. Crescent Moonstone: From the Stargazer, continue along the streets until an enemy bursts out of a gate. Diagonally opposite the gate is a ladder leading you to this item.
2. Hidden Moonstone: Later on, after opening the chest containing the weapon in the square with the Decay throwing enemies on the upper side, you’ll find this on a small wooden ledge on your right. Beware the puppet jumping out of the window.
3. Hidden Moonstone: After obtaining the Trinity Key, continue on and drop down the ladder and you’ll find this in your path.
4. Crescent Moonstone: Continue on and when you meet a lady sitting on a ledge, take a left into the alley. Beware the enemy bursting out the gate, then go through it to find this Crescent Moonstone.

Hotel Krat

1. Crescent Moonstone: Obtained by having Pulcinella appraise the Smiling Bunny Mark.

Rosa Isabelle Street Entrance

1. Crescent Moonstone: Continue down the stairs towards the gate on fire where you can find this on a suitcase
2. Crescent Moonstone: After defeating the White Lady later on in the district, go up the stairs, then left into the park section to find a Dimensional Butterfly dropping this.

Rosa Isabelle Street Culvert

1. Crescent Moonstone: After the sewers section, immediately after you’re back on the streets, head left, past a chimney sweeper puppet, and you’ll find this by the shortcut door back to the Stargazer.
2. Dark moon Moonstone of the Covenant: Near the Wedding Ring’s, go towards the alley and open the shortcut. You’ll find this here.

Estella Opera House Entrance

1. Dark moon Moonstone of the Covenant: When you enter the Opera House, take the right stairs. Be very careful of the wired puppets. They hit hard and affect P with disruption. If the disruption meter filles out, you die instantly. The best way to fight them is to lure them away so their wires break, becoming a lot weaker to handle. Once you’ve eliminated them, check the corner.
2. Crescent Moonstone: a bit later, on the main path, a giant skeleton sporting a helm will appear. Eliminate him then go left and left again at the end of the hallway to find this.

Lorenzini Arcade

1. Half Moonstone: Continue along the main path until you see a monster spitting decay. Kill him, then continue past him to find an area with three white mannequin puppets. In this area is a Dimensional Butterfly which drops this.
2. Dark moon Moonstone of the Covenant: After the wine-flooded cellar, continue on and you’ll find this in a hallway near two giant Decay monsters.
3. Dark moon Moonstone of the Covenant: When you reach the area with the Decay infested hallways, go through it to find a Dimensional Butterfly dropping this.
4. Crescent Moonstone: Between two wooden tables on the main path, right before reaching the non-floored wine cellar.

Grand Exhibition Plaza

1. Dark moon Moonstone of the Covenant: As soon as you reach the Plaza, check the staircase on your left.
2. Crescent Moonstone: Immediately after entering the park.

Grand Exhibition Plaza

1. Dark moon Moonstone of the Covenant: Behind the Stargazer, in a room. Make sure to open the shortcut back to the Plaza when you’re here.
2. Crescent Moonstone: On a counter on the main path, near two sword puppets and a robot puppet.
3. Half Moonstone: Opposite the counter, behind some white drapes.
4. Crescent Moonstone: Much much later, Inside the cable car exhibit.

Hotel Krat

1. Half Moonstone: Obtained for returning the Venigni Commemorative Coin to Pulcinella after completing the Woman at the Window side quest at Rosa Isabelle Street Entrance.
2. Crescent Moonstone: Can be bought at Polendina’s shop after expanding his shop via the Sturdy Krat Supply Box you’ve found at Grand Exhibition Gallery.
3. Dark moon Moonstone of the Covenant: Can be bought at Polendina’s shop after expanding his shop via the Sturdy Krat Supply Box you’ve found at Grand Exhibition Gallery.
4. Dark moon Moonstone of the Covenant: Can be bought at Polendina’s shop after expanding his shop via the Sturdy Krat Supply Box you’ve found at Grand Exhibition Gallery.

Barren Swamp Entrance

1. Half Moonstone: Halfway through the area, when you enter the tower in flames, go up the stairs and you’ll find this on a wooden beam. Watch out for a sniper who will try to knock you off.
2. Crescent Moonstone: Continue on and you’ll soon reach a massive puppet landfill. Inside one of the crates here is this upgrade material. To get it, you need the cannon to shoot the crate.
3. Half Moonstone: On one of the mounds of the landfill.
4. Dark moon Moonstone of the Covenant: After getting to the top of the tower to destroy the cannon, go back down and flank the right side of the landfill for a ledge you can drop down from. Continue on and when you see the Stargazer, turn around to find this in the corner.

Barren Swamp

1. Dark moon Moonstone of the Covenant: Dropped by the yellow Dimensional Butterfly in the massive landfill.
2. Half Moonstone: From the entrance to the landfill, go left and you’ll find this near the area where the Puppet of the Future roams around.
3. Crescent Moonstone: Outside the house, left side of the landfill.
4. Crescent Moonstone: Leave the house and keep flanking the cliff until you see a hill leading to some sort of ravine. Continue down the main path and when you see a small wooden beam you can walk across, use it to reach the item.

Barren Swamp Ravine

1. Half Moonstone: Dropped by a Dimensional Butterfly above found during the rolling boulder section.
2. Dark moon Moonstone of the Covenant: Dropped by the big Pinocchio toy puppet you find later on.
3. Crescent Moonstone: Top of the tower, on the rim thereof, when you reach the cannon.

Barren Swamp Bridge

1. Half Moonstone: after opening the gate near the Stargazer, When you get to the split, head right.

Barren Swamp Nest

1. Half Moonstone: Dropped by the elite puppet you’ll find in your path shortly after the Stargazer.

Krat Central Station Platform

1. Dark moon Moonstone of the Covenant: After defeating Robber Weasel boss, continue on and enter the side toilet to find this.

Collapsed Krat

1. Dark moon Moonstone of the Covenant: Right before fighting Walker of Illusions boss.
2. Half Moonstone: After the elevator sequence, in your path.

Krat Central Station Street

1. Half Moonstone: After obtaining the Trinity Key, continue along the path overlooking the sea and you’ll find this near the last Disruption ergo crystal.
2. Full Moonstone: Reward for defeating Corrupted Parade Master main boss.

Hotel Krat

1. Full Moonstone of the Covenant: Can be bought from Polendina’s shop after returning the Special Krat Supply Box you found at Collapsed Krat for 6,500 Ergo.
2. Dark moon Moonstone of the Covenant: Can be bought from Polendina’s shop after returning the Special Krat Supply Box you found at Krat for 2,080 Ergo.
3. Dark moon Moonstone of the Covenant: Can be bought from Polendina’s shop after returning the Special Krat Supply Box you found at Krat for 2,080 Ergo.
4. Dark moon Moonstone of the Covenant: Can be bought from Polendina’s shop after returning the Special Krat Supply Box you found at Krat for 2,080 Ergo.

Hermit’s Cave

1. Dark moon Moonstone of the Covenant: Found below the Stargazer’s location.

Relic of Trismegistus Entrance

1. Dark moon Moonstone of the Covenant: Right near the Stargazer.
2. Half Moonstone: Dropped by one of the Dimensional Butterflies in the bonfire area.
3. Full Moonstone: Dropped by the Dimensional Butterfly in the bonfire area.
4. Dark moon Moonstone of the Covenant: Go up the side hill and watch out for the fire traps (don’t step on the switches).
5. Half Moonstone: in the area with the elite enemy, on the pillar. Climb up the ladder and jump on it.

Relic of Trismegistus Combat Field

1. Full Moonstone: Continue down the fill and you’ll find it in your path after meeting and killing Alidoro.

Black Seaside

1. Crescent Moonstone: Across the beach desert, on your way to the next Stargazer.
2. Crescent Moonstone: Across the beach desert, on your way to the next Stargazer.
3. Crescent Moonstone: Across the beach desert, on your way to the next Stargazer.
4. Crescent Moonstone: Across the beach desert, on your way to the next Stargazer.
5. Hidden Moonstone: Across the beach desert, on your way to the next Stargazer and near it.
6. Hidden Moonstone: Across the beach desert, on your way to the next Stargazer and near it.

Arche Abbey Outer Wall

1. Dark moon Moonstone of the Covenant: From the Stargazer, continue upstairs, then take a right, and right again. Beware the abusing Decay enemy.
2. Full Moonstone of the Covenant: A bit later, Gemini will emit a pink glare. Kill the Dimensional Butterfly to obtain this.
3. Half Moonstone: Inside the church you come across.
4. Full Moonstone of the Covenant: When you get back outside and climb up the first flight of stairs, look to your left for a platform with two pick-ups. One of them is this Blade Upgrade Material.
5. Full Moonstone: A bit later, past a gatling gun enemy.
6. Full Moonstone: Later on, after riding the elevator all the way up, this is Dropped by a yellow Dimensional Butterfly.

Arche Abbey Broken Rift

1. Dark moon Moonstone of the Covenant: From the Stargazer, inside the next room, enter the side room on your left. Watch out for the trap.
2. Half Moonstone: Turn back, go into the middle room, then down the stairs. Enter the first room on your left.
3. Half Moonstone: When you reach the section with the cages dropping Decay enemies, this is right below the last cage that releases Decay enemies, right before the ladder.
4. Half Moonstone: Continue up the ladder and you’ll find this in your path.
5. Half Moonstone: The next Dimensional Butterfly you’ll encounter drops this.
6. Half Moonstone: Continue past the Disruption throwing enemy that was on the stone platform and drop down a level. You’ll run into it.
7. Full Moonstone: After the second big swordsman you find on the staircase, drop down the next ladder you see.

Ascension Bridge

1. Half Moonstone: Facing the chair inside Sophia’s room, go up the stairs on your right, then right again into the pantry.
2. Full Moonstone of the Covenant: Continue back outside and you’ll find this opposite the opening you have to go through on some sort of iron platform.

Arche Abbey Upper Part – Inside

1. Dark moon Moonstone of the Covenant: Go upstairs and enter the room in front of you before the second staircase.
2. Half Moonstone: Up the second stairs, near an enemy overlooking from the balcony.
3. Dark moon Moonstone of the Covenant: In the next area, past a swordsman and a fire-breathing puppet.
4. Half Moonstone: When you go down the stairs and see 2 fire-breathing puppets, take a sharp right around the stairs to find this.
5. Full Moonstone of the Covenant: After climbing up the ladder, immediately on your left.
6. Full Moonstone: After a second ladder, in front of you, by the elevator. You can now ride it down to activate a very neat shortcut.
