Introduction
Welcome to the Lies of P: Overture DLC Trophy Guide! Lies of P: Overture is a prequel DLC that takes you back to a time before Krat collapsed. It tells its own standalone story and answers some of the unresolved questions from the main game. Unlike the main game, Overture has only one ending, so you’ll only need to play through it once to experience the full story. However, there are some missable items and quests, so you’ll need to stay alert during your playthrough. Luckily, the game gives you a warning before the final section, allowing you to clean up any unfinished quests before you complete the DLC and lose access to all NPCs in the world.
Important: The DLC can only be 100% completed if you’re in New Game+ of the main game, due to the Gold Records being NG+ exclusive (they don’t spawn on the first “New Game” playthrough). To start the DLC you must have beaten the boss “Corrupted Parade Master” in Chapter 9 of the base game – also see How to Start Overture DLC.
Keep in mind that if you defeat the final boss in the base game and start a new playthrough, you’ll need to replay up to Chapter 9 again to access the DLC. As long as you don’t start New Game+ you can still access the DLC from the post-story save.
Step 1: In New Game+ play up to the Point of No Return (Rose Garden Entrance in Chapter 5) + Collect all Weapons, Legion Arms, Gestures, Records, Quest Items [5-10 Hours]
In the first step, your goal is to collect everything, especially the missable items! The Gold Record collectibles only spawn in New Game+, which means you can’t 100% the DLC if you’re on the first playthrough of the main game. To make sure you don’t miss anything, it’s best to follow the Collectible Guide – Lies of P: Overture DLC Collectible Guide.
The missables are marked as red [MISSABLE] in the collectible guide. Some decisions need to be made quickly, and it’s easy to choose the wrong option if you’re unprepared. To prevent mistakes read ahead when there’s a red missable coming up in the collectible guide. Also, do NOT consume or trade any Boss Ergos for amulets! The DLC introduces two new Boss Ergos, and if you want the related weapon trophy, you’ll need to exchange them for their unique weapons.
Note: If you miss anything, you must replay the main game all the way to chapter 9 in another NG+ playthrough to restart the DLC, and then replay the DLC completely! You can’t replay the DLC individually without replaying the main game. As a precaution, back up your save before starting the DLC (PS+ cloud for PS5 or USB on PS4). If something goes wrong you can copy back the save to replay the DLC without having to redo the main game.
Step 2: Cleanup, DON’T FINISH THE BOSS in Rose Garden Entrance! [1 Hour]
Once you’ve reached the Stargazer “Rose Garden Entrance” and followed the collectible guide, the only quest you should still have open is The Tracker’s quest.
By the time you hit the Point of No Return, you should have earned all trophies except the following:
Memory’s Melody
True Combat Gear Collector
The Blood Artist
Tracker of Dark Secrets
The Rose’s Memory
Enduring Resolve
At this stage, it’s all about the cleanup. First, go to Klaus and purchase the two weapons that require the two new Boss Ergos from the DLC.
Next, finish The Tracker’s quest. He will give you three small riddles that you need to solve (they are included in the Collectible Guide). At the end of the quest make sure you pick this dialogue for a missable record “They will be, and Krat will be saved“.
Before moving on to Step 3, make sure you’ve done the following:
- Found 9 of 10 Weapons (last one comes during Ending)
- Collected all 8 Gestures
- Obtained 7 of 8 Records (last one comes during Ending)
You can always check your records at the Hotel Krat record player to confirm you’re only missing the last one. If everything else is complete, you’re ready for Step 3.
Step 3: Finish the DLC Story
In the final step, all that’s left is to defeat the last boss. If you’ve collected everything up to this point, finishing the final fight will unlock the remaining trophies. Once the boss is down, and the last record and the last weapon is in your possession, you’ll have 100% completed the DLC trophies!

Powerfrix says
New game+ why??? I’m on my second playthrough so that’s new game right? So I’ll have to complete this playthrough and start again up to chapter 9 to be in new game+?
Dex says
New Game is your first playthrough, New Game+ is your second
Powerfrix says
Yes I realise what a dumbass I have been thank you
Killbomb says
What would be the difficulty rating if playing on the original difficulty?
NoHeroes94 says
I never played the original game. Would the original game also be a 5/10 difficulty on the easiest difficulty in retrospect?
Bunkerbudy says
Even more easy 4/10 probably because the DLC is harder.
Lars says
I am planning to platinum the main game and the dlc trophies.
What would be the fastest way to do that with cloud saving?
If possible i would like to get the platinum before i start and get the dlc trophies.
HashMeIfYouCan says
I would go for platinum in the maingame first and start the DLC afterwards from the NG+ savegame.
Bunkerbudy says
Just follow the original guide and keep a save file at the end of NG+ in case you want to complete the run. Stay in the NG+ cycle or reload the save and start the DLC in NG+ and complete it using this guide.
HashMeIfYouCan says
I messed up goddard. Guess i will go for my NG+4 to get my last record. :o
Ouri says
I got all the weapons and legion arms but didn’t get the trophy
Dominik Gorzel says
Hey there,
i dont get the Trophy to listen all of the new music. I listened to everything, i got all of that collected and i restarted the game complete – no chance. Trophy doesnt appear. Any ideas?
Fred Huggins says
I had the same problem here. Listened to all 8 records all the way through as I got them, no trophy. Went back to the record player and played the first two gold records a second time – the trophy popped after fully playing gold Lisrim and gold Nightmare all the way through a second time. I dunno if the game had failed to log gold Nightmare and that was the only one I had to listen to, or if it was random and would have triggered after listening to any two records.
A says
I reached Krat Lighthouse, then went back to finish some trophies.
I can’t find Rosaura in the Carnival. I talked to her once and found her shoes, but I didn’t return to her until now. I tried looking for her in her other locations, but she isn’t there.
Did I miss something, or did the latest patch glitch the questline?
Em says
She moves to the lighthouse at some point.
