Lies of P All Record Locations

Lies of P contains 16 Record Locations. Collecting and playing all records unlocks the Golden Melody trophy & achievement.

Each Record allows you to play a new track at the gramophone at Hotel Krat and helps you restore Humanity should you have lied too often. You cannot earn all Records in one single playthrough! Two Records are tied to Eugénie’s story, each of which is earned by selecting a Lie or a Truth option. This means that you need a second playthrough to obtain the other Record tied to the answer you didn’t choose on your first playthrough. Additionally, some Records can only be bought from Wandering Merchants in New Game+ (not available on first playthrough). Once you own all Records, you must interact with the gramophone at Hotel Krat and play them all. You don’t need to listen to each Record in their entirety, you can just start one and immediately start the next. Below is a list of all Record locations and how to obtain them in chronological order.

Records available in First Playthrough:

Inside the House on Elysion Boulevard

1. Feel: when you reach the Stargazer, continue along the rooftop until you reach a small square where you must descend a ladder. Before doing so, check your right to find a lit window with the silhouette of a woman. Talk to the woman and accept her quest to retrieve her baby. Continue through the areas until you reach Krat City Hall. After finding two swordsmen near a fountain, go up the stairs, then check the right side for an Elite enemy guarding the Broken Baby Puppet recollection item. Return the item to the weeping woman and choose “She’s a cute baby” to lie or “That’s a puppet” to tell the truth. WARNING: there are reports of this Record being obtainable only during a Lie playthrough.

St. Frangelico Cathedral Library

1. Divine Service: when you first reach St. Frangelico Cathedral Library, talk to Sister Cecile in the room left of the Stargazer. Collect the Holy Mark you can fine on a table by a side room with a safe, then return to her. Now proceed to defeat Fallen Archbishop Andreus, then return to Cecile’s location to get Cecile’s Written Confession. Open the Collectibles menu (Letters) and read it.

Malum District

1. Someday: can be bought from the Wandering Merchant inside the Red Lobster Inn for 3,800 Ergo. When you reach the Inn, continue until you can open a shortcut door back to the Stargazer. Face the shortcut door, then turn over and you should spot a small ladder on the right side of the room leading you to the Wandering Merchant.

Estella Opera House Entrance

1. Fascination: enter the Opera House and go up the stairs on the right. Up the stairs again and past the singing spider for a small hallway leading to two doors. One of these doors can be opened to get access to a room with Adelina the Actress. Before doing anything else, check if you own the Red Apple item in your Recollection items. If not, head back to Hotel Krat and buy from Polendina for 1,000 Ergo. Now return to Adelina and when she asks for it, give her the apple. Now continue through the Opera House until you’ve defeated the King of Puppets. Then, return to Adelina’s room to be able to collect this Record from the ground. WARNING: if you don’t give Adelina the Red Apple, she won’t drop the Fascination record, making this a missable one.

Grand Exhibition Conference Room

1. Quixotic: after defeating Champion Victor, continue on and you’ll eventually reunite with the Red Fox and Black Cat. Agree to give them some Gold Coin Fruit to receive this Record.

Hotel Krat

1. Why: as you explore the Grand Exhibition Gallery, you’ll find Belle. Talk to her and she will join Hotel Krat after you’ve defeated Champion Victor main boss. Proceed through the story until you’ve obtained information on how to unlock the secret passageway behind Antonia’s portrait, then talk to Belle and Accept her request to look for her friend. Then, fast-travel to Krat Central Station. Go right and then down the stairs, turn around and enter the train car. Talk to the NPC to receive the collectible. Now return to Hotel Krat and talk to Belle. During the conversation, say that he died in battle to lie or say that he became a monster for the truth. To obtain this Record, you must lie to her. WARNING: this Record is missable if you attack the NPC.

Hermit’s Cave

1. Misty E’rA: as you explore the cave, you’ll meet an elite Decay enemy with a shield. Kill it to obtain this Record.

Hotel Krat

1. Far East Princess: after you’ve killed Alidoro in Relic of Trismegistus Combat Field, head back to Hotel Krat and ask Venigni to decrypt Alidoro’s Cryptic Vessel. Now, read the Decryption in the Collectibles menu, then talk to Eugénie. When talking to her, choose “I think he was just a talented Stalker” to obtain this Record.

Ascension Bridge

1. Memory of Beach: after defeating Laxasia The Complete, return to Hotel Krat to find out Antonia has passed away. Head up into Geppetto’s Study to find this on her wheelchair. WARNING: this Record is missable if you didn’t have Giangio craft the Cure for Antonia after defeating Champion Victor. You must have Giangio craft the cure and then you must instruct Polendina to administer the cure. After doing so, talk to Antonia to find out how better she feels already.
2. Shadow Flower: after defeating Laxasia The Complete, enter Sophia’s bedroom and choose “Give her peace”. Then, you can find this on the armchair in front of you after obtaining the Entreat gesture. WARNING: On my Truth playthrough, this Record didn’t spawn on the armchair. It only did in my Lie playthrough by giving Sophia peace and receiving the Entreat gesture.

New Game+ Records:

The Records below can only be obtained in the second playthrough on New Game+.

Cerasani Alley

MISSABLE

1. Proposal, Flower, Wolf Part 1 (Golden): talk to the Wandering Merchant by the Cerasani Alley stargazer before the Parade Master main boss and buy the Record for 6,000 Ergo. WARNING: this Record is missable because the Wandering Merchant disappears later in the game. Buy it now.

Inside the House on Elysion Boulevard

1. Quixotic (Golden): talk to the Wandering Merchant by the Inside the House on Elysion Boulevard stargazer to buy this for 10,000 Ergo.

Lorenzini Arcade

1. Shadow Flower (Golden): can be bought from the Wandering Merchant you find in your path for 10,000 Ergo.

Abandoned Apartment

1. Memory of Beach (Golden): can be bought from the Wandering Merchant near the Stargazer for 10,000 Ergo.

Hotel Krat

1. Proposal, Flower, Wolf Part 1: after you’ve killed Alidoro in Relic of Trismegistus Combat Field, head back to Hotel Krat and ask Venigni to decrypt Alidoro’s Cryptic Vessel. Now, read the Decryption in the Collectibles menu, then talk to Eugénie. When talking to her, choose “He was Eugénie’s older brother” to obtain this Record. If you reload the area at the Stargazer, you will also unlock The Story of a Stranger Girl by talking to her again.

Rosa Isabelle Street Entrance

1. Fascination (Golden): first, you must meet Test Subject 826. When you reach Arceh Abbey Outer Wall, continue to the vertical room with the two beams in the middle. At the bottom of the room, ride the elevator past the traps and talk to Test Subject 826 at the bottom to obtain this Gesture. After defeating the next main boss, you can return to Rosa Isabelle Street Entrance to find Test Subject 826. From the Stargazer, go down the stairs and then to the bottom of the street, through the shortcut gate. Continue to the bridge above Rosa Isabelle Street to find Test Subject 826 and buy the Record.
