Hotel Krat (Chapter 10) contains 7 Collectible Locations in Lies of P. This walkthrough will guide you to all the collectibles in Hotel Krat (Chapter 10) in chronological order and is intended for use DURING the story. Everything that’s needed for trophies and 100% completion is included. Because some collectibles are missable, it is highly recommended to do everything possible in a Chapter before moving to the next. Additionally, at the end of each Chapter, there will always be a “Hotel Krat” section to clean things up and get what you unlocked for purchase or collection while exploring an area. Sometimes you won’t be able to collect everything an area has to offer because you’re missing some collectibles leading you back to an area. Make sure to return to an area when specified. When that’s the case, the area you’re returning to isn’t always part of the Chapter you’ve just played as shown in the fast travel menu, but it’s technically part of the Chapter you’ve just finished.

Talk to Venigni. Choose “I couldn’t hear” to gain Humanity.

Obtained for returning Alidoro’s Cryptic Vessel to Venigni.
#3 – Functional Item (Perfection Grindstone)
Can be bought from Pulcinella’s shop after turning in Great Venigni Collection found at Relic of Trismegistus Combat Field.
#4 – Recollection (King of Puppets’ Message)
Reload the area at the Stargazer and talk to Venigni again to obtain the item.
#5 – Record (Far East Princess) + #6 Humanity opportunity
Reward for lying to Eugénie. NOTE: This Record is mutually exclusive with the one below. To obtain the Record below, you need a second playthrough if you lied throughout your first playthrough. After having Venigni decrypt Alidoro’s Cryptic Vessel, read it in the Collectibles menu in its entirety, then talk to Eugénie. Choose “I think he was just a talented Stalker” to obtain this record.
#7 – Record (Proposal, Flow, Wolf Part 1)
Reward for telling Eugénie the truth. NOTE: This Record is mutually exclusive with the one above. To obtain the Record above, you need a second playthrough if you told the truth throughout your first playthrough. After having Venigni decrypt Alidoro’s Cryptic Vessel, read it in the Collectibles menu in its entirety, then talk to Eugénie. Choose “He was Eugénie’s older brother“. Reload the area at the Stargazer and talk to Eugénie again to unlock this Record. Choosing this answer also unlocks 
The Story of a Stranger Girl (find out about the last story of Eugénie).
That’s 100% of the collectibles you can find in Hotel Krat (Chapter 10) area in Lies of P.

Following this guide to the letter and now this doesn’t appear….
#1 – Lie/Truth opportunity
Talk to Venigni. Choose “I couldn’t hear” if you’re on your Lie playthrough. Choose “Geppetto caused the Puppet Frenzy” if you’re on your Truth playthrough.
Also some other inconsistencies throughout the entire guide, enemies don’t drop certain upgrade materials when you say they do so I think to some extent certain upgrade materials are randomized.

If you can’t trigger that conversation with Venigni, you’ve either skipped or missed a previous step. Hard to say what it is without more information.
As for enemies dropping materials, some may, but as for Amulets or Defense Parts, those are fixed.

I didn’t miss any step but it all worked out anyway, almost like they appeared in the wrong order, maybe something to do with killing the area boss after talking to the king of riddles and then talking to Venigni.
As for the materials I do believe you are right in saying enemies that drop frames/upgrades are guaranteed but I found that enemies/elites that respawn don’t have a set drop.
Like I said everything ended up working out perfectly and I was able to get ‘Real Boy’ and ‘Rise of P’ endings by cloud saving. (I’m on Xbox btw)
Finally I just want to say even though the guide is a little rough (I suspect this is due to it being an early guide, no shade to you as the author) I found it 99% easy to follow and overall is a really good guide. Maybe a few clean-ups here and there to clean up some misunderstandings in text but yeah overall, well done and thanks.

I wanna preface this by saying that I solo’d this project, one of my biggest one on the website. I created a lot of pages to make navigating the Lies of P content and playing the game as enjoyable as possible for yo guys. I had to cross-check a lot of pages, making sure there was consistency in content all across them, so please forgive me if I missed out on a few.
As for the order, it’s not wrong, it’s one of the many viable orders you can do certain things. In the guide, you simply find the order I did things in. That doesn’t mean other orders don’t work ?

As the other commentor mentioned, the Truth/Lie opportunity in step #1 doesn’t present itself.
There is a step you likely did in game, but didn’t realise it caused the trigger for this opportunity to happen and therefore did not add it as.a step.

Just as an addition, there is a unique conversation with Venigni at this point, this conversation mentions not knowing who caused the Puppet Frenzy so clearly there is a trigger where you learn who caused it and that would allow you to get this Truth/Lie opportunity.

After checking the wiki, it references an Ergo reading you are supposed to find. It acts as a recording that you playback in your conversation with Venigni.
This should be added to the guide if you can determine where you found it.

This issue is likely related to the Ergo Wavelength Decoder.
You have to do something with it before presenting it to Venigni as it’s the tool used to find out the cause of the Puppet Frenzy.
After defeating the Black Rabbit Brotherhood and speaking to Venigni, if your Ergo Wavelength Decoder does not meet the necessary conditions, you simply give the device back to Venigni and this particular Truth/Lie opportunity is gone.
Hopefully you can figure out the trigger condition and add it to the guide.

I, too, was not presented with the choice by Venigni. There must be something to be done first. The guidance up to this point has been perfect.
I hope you can figure it out. I will try in the second run but by now I have done one to no avail.

I think I understand but I am not sure. At the end of chapter 8 Venigni gives me a Golden-Laid Acid Battery. Reviewing the conversation Venigni also tells me to talk to Antonia because she should know more about the hiding place. I did not do this. In the guide it said to talk to Antonia for a trophy but if you were in a Lie run it was useless so I didn’t do it. I believe that this action then compromised the actions in Chapter 10.

I don’t remember having the opportunity to talk to Antonia after receiving Golden-Laid Acid Battery. In Hotel Krat (Chapter 8)’s guide it is not even indicated. I’m also confused when you say “In the guide it said to talk to Antonia for a trophy” when in this guide there’s no mentioning of her.

ok, although at the end of ch. 10 he didn’t give me this conversation, before boss Simon, repairing with Venigni allowed me to take this choice. However, I do not understand what could have happened differently.

For #7 I accidentally spoke with Eugenie before solving the codex and the truth option changed to “The real Alidoro was killed by the fake one” instead of the one mentioning that he’s her brother.
It still gave me the Proposal, Flow, Wolf Part 1 thankfully

I know it’s old but I think it would be better if you cloud save (if you have ps+) and disable it before making the Eugénie choice. I followed the guide almost all the way through, I only went to the next area stargazer before coming back. And I allow fought the stalker lady – to whom you could lie and skip her boss fight.
But I had to choose the “He was Eugénie’s older brother” option for the #5 record (Far East Princess) instead of lying for some reason (always got Ergo crystal for that option).

I am not sure if you still read comments here but there is gameplay breaking instructions in here. With the update of overture its possible to get both records in one playthrough be answering that eugine is her brother.
