Wainwright Materials are quest items in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. Finding all Wainwright Material Locations is needed for the side quest Stuck in a Rut in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, to complete Objective “Gather Materials for the Wainwright”. While finding only 1 of these is enough to complete the quest, you will need all 3 for the “Perfect” result.
They are all found in Junon Region by digging them up using the Chocobo. When approaching their location you will see an orange question mark above your chocobo. Then hold Dpad Up to make the Chocobo sniff for the exact location, til the right stick in the indicated direction (or simply spin 360°). Then follow the scent line to the end and press Dpad Down to dig up the Wainwright Materials.
Wainwright Material Location 1: For the first location, go to the base of the large structure to the north of Gabe’s Ranch.
Wainwright Material Location 2: For the second location, head west and go behind a small damaged house.
Wainwright Material Location 3: For the third location, head to the path just north of where you caught your chocobo to find this by a rock.
