The Lion’s Roar is a Main Story Quest (Operation) in Far Cry 6. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of The Lion’s Roar main mission.

Reward: 150 Guerrilla XP, Alfredo Maximo (Los Bandido Leader)
Mission Info: Grand Hotel Caballero is La Moral’s base… for now. We need to figure out what’s next. McKay? Castillo? Both?
Objectives:
- Meet up with Yelena
- Defend the hotel
- Escape with Yelena
Starting Location: The Lion’s Roar
The Lion’s Roar is an operation available at the Grand Hotel Caballero in Conuco, El Este and automatically starts after completing “Our Right to Party“.
Meet up with Yelena
Head to the Grand Hotel Caballero for a cutscene with Yelena and the other members.
Defend the hotel
After the cutscene, you will immediately be attacked by waves of enemies. There will be infantries, a tank and towards the end a few helicopters. Fortunately, there are a bunch of turrets around the rooftop to assist with destroying the vehicles, as well as a mortar.
Stay on the rooftop area and take out everyone from range, there will be ammo across the rooftop if you need any. If you have the default Supremo equipped you will be able to use that on the vehicles or packs of enemies to take care of them easier. If you have no other means to destroy the tank, you can blow up the barrel on the back to reveal the engine, and then attack it directly that way.
Once you defeat all waves of enemies, you will get another cutscene.
Escape with Yelena
Follow Yelena and use the zipline to escape from the hotel.
This finishes The Lion’s Roar operation in Far Cry 6.
