Far Cry 6 has 42 types of Animals. This guide shows all Animal Hunting Spot Locations. Hunting the animals will give you their Meat or Pelt or other resources that can be traded at camps or used for cooking meals. So knowing where exactly they are is good to get the animal materials you want. In order to get undamaged meat you should use a Hunting Bow or upgrade the ‘Hunting Lodge’ camp facility to Level 3, which lets you kill animals using bullets and explosives without damaging their meat.
None of the Animals are missable. You can still find them after the story in free roam. You can keep track of what Animal Resources you have under Inventory > Tradables. Once you have discovered an Animal Hunting Spot it stays marked on your map permanently. If an animal doesn’t spawn, try returning at a different time of day. For Mythical Animals refer to Far Cry 6 Mythical Animal Locations.
This guide lists animals in Alphabetical Order. You can also use your web browser’s built-in search function to jump to animals quickly (Desktop: CTRL+F / Mobile: Use ‘find on page’ in browser options).
Far Cry 6 Animals
*Only spawns at night. The spawn can be a bit buggy, if it’s not there at night, walk around the docks by the water and it might spawn in after a while, or fast travel away and return to this place a few times.
