Far Cry 6 has 5 Mythical Animal Locations. Locating and hunting all Mythical Animals unlocks the Ultimate Predator trophy and achievement.
They are unique animals that only appear one time in the game at fixed spawn locations. By fully upgrading the Hunter’s Lodge (camp facility) at one of your camps you can mark them on your in-game map.
You can keep track of which ones you’ve done under Inventory > Tradables > Gear (top row). Each animal gives one unique item drop.
None of the Mythic Animals are missable. You can still hunt them after the story in free-roam.
Mythical Animal #1: Mamutito (Hog)
Found in the north of Isla Santuario. Unlocks Mamutito’s Tusks.
Mythical Animal #2: Black Demoníaco & Mythical Animal #3: White Demoníaco (Wolves)
Found in Madrugada region. Both wolves (white and black) spawn together here in the same spot. Unlocks Black & White Demoniaco Pelt.
Mythical Animal #4: Venodiente (Crocodile)
Found in Valle De Oro region. Unlocks Venodiente Leather.
Mythical Animal #5: Sanguinario (Jaguar)
Found in the south of El Este, by some buildings near the water. ONLY SPAWNS AT NIGHT! If it’s not there immediately after nightfall, return a few times throughout the night until it spawns. Sometimes it just doesn’t spawn properly, but if you fast travel away and come back it should work. Won’t spawn during the day. Unlocks Sanguinario Pelt.
That’s all of the Mythical Animals in Far Cry 6. After killing the last one, you’ll immediately get the Ultimate Predator trophy or achievement. For all other types of Animals, see Animal Hunting Spot Locations.

The Sanguinario spawn can be buggy, even at night. I found going to menu helped. If Sanguinario does not spawn, fast travel outside El Este (I did it to the top of Madrugada, buy the Rooster No. 2 location) and then quit to main menu. From the menu, continue game, go back to the spawn and it should work first time.
Can confirm the above method works, spawn is buggy otherwise. Thanks 🙂
for me it spawned in the daytime
I killed the black wolf but didn’t get the pelt. White wold worked perfectly. Now the black one won’t spawn again. No way to get the pelt. ?
Trophy worked, though.
Unfortunately the fast travel/main menu method did not work for me but I found that if Sanguinario does not spawn then fishing at the pier right next to his spawn seemed to spawn him in instantly!

I killed all 5 and even have their drops, trophy didnt pop any one else knows how to fix? Ps 5 version

I’ve just realised that if you look back over the locations the wolves were still there for me (even though I’d already killed them and got the resources) killed them again and the trophy popped!
Fishing at the dock at night made Sanguinario spawn for me.
when I fished, the village got run through by wild hogs first, then the big cat came later with one of his jaguar friends… village had no enemies around, but as soon as I started shooting at Sanguinario, a patrol boat and some foot soldiers came out of nowhere and lit me up…
thankfully, the 2nd time went very smoothly
