Lies of P All Side Quest Locations

Lies of P contains 9 Side Quests. Completing side quests usually leads to other Collectibles as rewards, such as Cryptic Vessels, Gestures, Recollection Items, or rare Ergo. Below is a list of all Side Quests in the game, with a walkthrough how to complete all of them. They are listed in the chronological order when they first become available.

Be sure to do all Side Quests at the first opportunity, they become gradually unavailable if you advance the story too far.

Inside the House on Elysion Boulevard

1. Toma (Part 1): from the Stargazer, proceed along the rooftops and climb down the first ladder on your right. When you reach the street level, turn around to find a lit window with the silhouette of a woman coughing. Talk to her and go through the dialogs to accept her quest.
2. Weeping Woman: go back up the same ladder and proceed to the next building. Immediately after getting back outside drop down on your right to find another lit window with the silhouette of a weeping woman. Talk to her and accept her quest. She wants you to find her baby. Continue through the story as normal and you will eventually reach an area with two swordsmen near a fountain past the Krat City Hall stargazer. Go up the stairs and you should notice an elite puppet guarding the item. Defeat the puppet, then grab the item. Now return to the weeping woman and give her the “baby”. This is a Lie or Truth opportunity: if you’re in your Lie playthrough, choose “She’s a cute baby”, if you’re in your Truth playthrough, choose “That’s a puppet”. This will complete the Side Quest and you will obtain the Record “Feel”.
3. Toma (Part 2): after defeating the Scrapped Watchman main boss (unmissable, story-related boss), grab the Faded Whistle from the candlelit bench in the arena itself and teleport back to the Inside House on Elysion Boulevard stargazer. From here, return to the lit window and open Bag > Collectibles and Use on Faded Whistle while standing in front of the window. This will complete the Side Quest.

Venigni Works Control Room

1. Venigni: talk to Venigni next to the Stargazer. He wants you to find his butler puppet, Pulcinella. Defeat main boss King’s Flame, Fuoco, then interact with the broken puppet leaning on the wall inside the boss arena. Now return to the Venigni to catch him up to speed. If you don’t find him at Venigni Works Control Room stargazer, he will be at Hotel Krat. As a reward for completing the Side Quest, you will receive the Fear gesture.

St. Frangelico Cathedral Library

1. Sister Cecile: when you reach the St. Frangelico Cathedral Library stargazer, check the left side of the room for a nun. Talk to her and accept her quest to return the Archbishop’s Holy Mark recollection item. Proceed through the area as normal and ride the elevator back down after meeting with Alidoro at the top of the Cathedral. Go up the stairs on your left, then continue to the opposite side to find a room with a safe and the item on the floor. You can now return to Cecile near the Stargazer to hand the item in. After defeating Fallen Archbishop Andreus, return to Cecile’s location once more to collect the Divine Service record and the Cecile’s Written Confession letter which you can open and read in the Collectibles menu for the Pray gesture. This will complete the Side Quest.

Rosa Isabelle Street Entrance

1. Old Lady at the Window (Part 1): immediately after reaching the Stargazer, continue down the stairs, defeat the two puppets, then up the stairs on the left. Circle back around the building as if you were to go back to the Stargazer to find another lit window with the silhouette of a woman. Talk to her to start her quest. She wants you to retrieve a bottle of La Bleiweis wine. Continue through the story as normal until you reach Lorenzini Arcade.

Rosa Isabelle Street Culvert

1. Julian the Gentleman: next to the Stargazer, talk to Julian the Gentlemen and accept his quest to retrieve her late wife’s belongings. Continue through the sewers and you’ll eventually resurface into an area full of chimney sweeper puppet ladies. Continue up the stairs, watching out for the hunter and the kamikaze puppet, then cross the bridge and down the stairs to find the corpse of a woman leaning on the wall. Collect her belongings and then return to Julian the Gentleman. Choose “I’ve never seen that happen before if you’re on your Truth playthrough. Choose “I saw the message she left, saying she loves you” if you’re on your Lie playthrough. If you lie to him, you’ll get the Wedding Ring as a Recollection item and the “Sad” Gesture, otherwise you won’t obtain either item.

Estella Opera House Entrance

1. Adelina the Actress: after entering the Opera House, go up the stairs on your right, then up the stairs again and past the singing spider. In the next hallway, you can open one of the two doors where you’ll find Adelina the Actress. Now check your Recollection inventory and if you have the Red Apple item. If not, go back to Hotel Krat and buy the Red Apple from Polendina’s shop, then return to Adelina and give her the Red Apple. After defeating the King of Puppets, return to Adelina’s room to find her body on the floor and collect the Fascination record the Red Actress’s Locket recollection item. WARNING: if you don’t give Adelina the Red Apple, she won’t drop the Fascination record, making this a missable one.

Lorenzini Arcade

1. Old Lady at the Window (Part 2): eventually, you will reach a wine cellar (not the flooded one) where you can pick the wine bottle for the Old Lady. Once you have the item, return to the side quest giver to hand the bottle in and obtain Venigni Commemorative Coin. You can now bring this item to Pulcinella at Hotel Krat for an appraisal and a Half Moonstone blade upgrade material. This will complete the Side Quest.

Grand Exhibition Gallery

1. Belle (Part 1): you will eventually meet Belle. Talk to her and she will join Hotel Krat after defeating Champion Victor main boss.

Barren Swamp

1. Broken Puppet: next to the Stargazer is a broken white puppet. Talk to him to start the Side Quest for which he wants you to show him certain Gestures you’ve already acquired. When you find him for the first time, you can only show him two Gestures. You can show him another two Gestures later on in the game when you acquire Anger and Happy. Check Lies of P All Gesture Locations if needed. After showing him all available emotions, you will obtain a Quartz. This will complete the Side Quest.

Hotel Krat

1. Belle (Part 2): after defeating Corrupted Parade Master and obtaining information from Antonia about the secret passageway behind her portrait, talk to Belle again to continue her Side Quest. She wants you to look for her friend. Fast-travel to Krat Central Station. Go right and then down the stairs, turn around and enter the train car. Talk to the NPC to receive a Letter. Now return to Hotel Krat and talk to Belle. If you’re on your Lie playthrough, tell her the he died in battle, if you’re on your Truth playthrough, the her he’s become a monster.
