Ivy is a plant and crafting material in Monster Hunter World. It is used to craft Smoke Bomb and Net. Ivy is one of the rarest gatherable items in the game and only grows in hidden places that are hard to reach. A popular use is for making Pitfall Traps from the Nets.
Location:
You can farm the following locations by fast traveling back and forth between the maps:
- Wildspire Waste
- Coral Highlands
- Elder’s Recess
Note: Unlike other plants, you cannot cultivate Ivy at Astera’s botanical garden. The only way to get it is to find it in the open world.
Used to Craft:
- Smoke Bomb
- Net (can be crafted into Pitfall Traps)
