Sleep Herb is a plant and crafting material in Monster Hunter World. It is used to craft Drugged Meat, Tranq Bomb, Sleep Knife, Sleep Coating, Sleep Ammo 1.
Sleep Herb is relatively rare in the early maps, but very common in later maps. Its most popular use is for making Tranq Bombs, which allow you to capture monsters alive in combination with shock traps.
Location:
You can farm the following locations by fast traveling back and forth between the maps:
- Ancient Forest
- Wildspire Waste (Best Farming Spot)
- Coral Highlands
- Rotten Vale
You can cultivate Sleep Herbs at the botanist in Astera and use fertilizer on it. This will make it grow automatically between quests.
