Smokenut is a plant and a crafting material in Monster Hunter World. It is used to craft Smoke Bomb, Poison Smoke Bomb and for the Farcaster that lets you call a Wingdrake in mid-battle to fly you back to camp.
Location:
You can farm the following locations by fast traveling back and forth between the maps:
- Ancient Forest
- Elder’s Recess
You can cultivate Smokenuts at the botanist in Astera and use fertilizer on it. This will make it grow automatically between quests. It takes 1 quest to grow 2 Smokenuts.
Used to Craft:
- Farcaster
- Smoke Bomb
- Poison Smoke Bomb
