Meet the Monteros is a Main Story Quest (Operation) in Far Cry 6. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Meet the Monteros main mission.

Requirement: having completed Operation “The Guerrilla”
Reward: 150 XP, Cigar Cutter (Charm)
Mission Info: They hate visitors, but Clara suggested to start by finding that Mechanix Philly Barzaga, the gatekeeper, at his workshop in Costa del Mar. He might help.

Starting Location: Meet the Monteros
Make contact with Philly
The first point of contact in the region Madrugada is Philly Barzaga, a tinkerer who could get us close to the Montero family. Time for a little chat, with a slight bit of tension.
Find Espada
Before meeting with Montero, he suggests we should seek his daughter, who goes by the name of La Espada. Winning her over could mean that she will put in a good word for us.
As the objective is 1.600m away, getting into a helicopter is a good choice. Unless you have cleared out the whole airspace, you might get shot at, but flying low should get you where you need to go.
Arriving at the plantation, head into the main building and up the large set of stairs.
At the end of the corridor, interact with the door to get your informal introduction with her.
Follow Espada
After the cutscene, follow her down the stairs. Outside will be roughly a dozen of soldiers we need to deal with.
Secure the Area
Fortunately, there are two mounted guns we can use to our heart’s content. Use them to save up on your own ammo.
Every now and then, someone might slip by your defense and appear in the blind spot of the mounted gun, so dismount and take care of them.
Eventually, a helicopter will spwan. By this time, your Supremo Rocket-Backpack should be filled up and ready to use

. They will auto-aim towards the helicopter and bring it down with ease.
Follow Espada (2)
Once the heat has died down, follow Espada towards the horses.
The roads will be blocked by soldiers, so you should stick to the blue paths shown on the mini-map to avoid them.
Eventually, they will lose sight of you and you can ride alongside Espada and meet up with her father, who is quite the character.
