Because collectibles such as Special Weapons, Records, and Side Quests are missable, it is highly recommended to complete each chapter’s area before moving to the next. This guide is intended for use DURING the story and will walk you through all the way to the Platinum. At the end of each Chapter, you will always find a “Hotel Krat” clean-up section to collect those item you unlocked after exploring a main area and defeating its boss.

All Bosses are a guaranteed spawn, except for The Atoned which should only be fought in your Truth playthrough. The game will present you with two dialogue choices throughout the game: LIE or TRUTH. In one playthrough you should always lie, in another always tell the truth. All Special Weapons are missable if you consume the Bosses’ Ergo or use them to buy Amulets. If you want the Amulets, you must buy them in New Game+. Costumes are not needed for trophies, they only unlock new cosmetic items. It’s impossible to unlock All Records in one single playthrough as two of them are locked behind two specific, mutually exclusive lines of dialogue, others can only be acquired from the Wandering Merchants in NG+ (not available on first playthrough). Some Side Quests cannot be completed after specific points in the game, so do them at the first possible opportunity when pointed out in the guide.
