Blood of Dawnwalker Someone Needs a Lesson Walkthrough

Someone Needs a Lesson is a side quest in The Blood of Dawnwalker. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Someone Needs a Lesson side mission.

Fail State: Must be completed before Sacred Covenant

Quest Description: Vasil is picking on me again. I’ve just about had it.

Starting Location: Someone Needs a Lesson

Deal With Vasil

While walking through the village, Vasil will randomly shout insults at Coen then proceed to run away.

Chase Vasil

Run after the poxy blighter and when you are close, press / when prompted.

Talk with Vasil (1 Time Segment)

When you confront Vasil, choose any dialogue options. If you choose any option that ends with a fist icon, you will immediately exit the conversation and fight Vasil. Otherwise the argument will end when Vasil’s father Atanas arrives.

Defeat Vasil (Optional)

If you choose to fight Vasil, it will be a fist fight. It will end when Vasil’s life bar has been depleted, and his father Atanas arrives. He will ask Vasil and Coen what’s going on. You can tell him the truth, which will earn Vasil a beating. If you say that it was nothing, he won’t believe you and will still attempt to beat Vasil. Atanas will want you to beat him with a stick as punishment. Suddenly Vasil’s bad attitude makes a lot more sense.

If you go with them and agree to the punishment, Coen will have to beat Vasil bloody. You’ll have a short, angry conversation with Vasil about his beating, the quest will be completed.

Defeat Atanas (Optional)

If you refuse to do it, Atanas will say that he’ll punish Vasil on your behalf. If you step in to stop Atanas, or refuse to go with them in the first place, Atanas will instead try to teach you a lesson.

Once you’ve defeated Atanas, you’ll have a short, sad conversation with Vasil about how terrible his life is to end the quest.
