Don’t Kill the Messenger is a side quest in The Blood of Dawnwalker. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Don’t Kill the Messenger side mission.

- Quest Description: In this world it’s not always certain that a message will reach its recipient… as I found out once while traveling through a forest.
Objectives:
- Follow the trail
- Defeat the uriashi soldier
- Inspect the area around the body using Focus Mode
- Interrogate the dead man using Compel Soul Witchcraft Ability
Starting Location: Don’t Kill the Messenger
Follow the trail
Directly south of the Shepherd’s Rest Shrine, you can find a bunch of arrows stuck in the ground and a trail leading southwest.
On the trail you can pick up the Servered Uriashi Horn on the right.
Defeat the uriashi soldier
Follow the trail into the area and defeat the uriashi soldier that attacks you.
Inspect the area around the body using Focus Mode
You can then pick up an arrow on the ground.
Then the Dead Man’s Sword beside the body.
Interrogate the dead man using Compel Soul Witchcraft Ability
You can then use Compel Soul on the body, using the three items that you picked up. After doing this you will complete the quest.
This finishes Don’t Kill the Messengerside quest in The Blood of Dawnwalker.
