The Blood of Dawnwalker contains 3 romance options during the game. Romances are unique scenes that can occur in optional side quests related to certain characters. They are not required for any endings and do not have a drastic impact on the story after they occur.
You can engage in all romance scenes during a single playthrough, they are all self-contained and do not overlap or contradict each other.
Romance 1: Anca
Anca’s romance scene occurs during her side quest Stronger than Achilles, at the very end of the quest after finding the Font of Life.
Anca’s Questline: Echoes of Silenced Bells > Most Precious Thing (optional) > Between the Words > Where Old Devils Lie > Stronger Than Achilles (
Sins of the Past)
After dealing with the Font of Life you will be back at the inn, you have one more conversation with Anca to complete the quest.
If you wish to follow through with the romance scene, you can choose the following dialogue options:
- I meant what I said.
- Screw decency. I want you, too.
Romance 2: Lacra
Lacra’s romance scene occurs during her side quest The Night of Horrors, at the very end of the quest after you find the Mandrake.
Questline: A Friend Like This > Song of the Mountain > Hive and Seek > Our Rotten Roots > The Night of Horrors (
Misery Loves Company)
After the first dialogue where you decide whether or not to consume the Mandrake, the second dialogue leads into the romance scene. Engaging in the romance scene allows you to drink her blood, which also unlocks the “Mesmerise” Vampiric ability.
If you wish to follow through with the romance scene, you can choose the following dialogue options:
- Can vrakhiri get drunk?
- [follow Lacra]
- Yeah, I’m all over all of it. / Who says I’m not.
- [drink]
- [kiss her]
Romane 3: Crake
Crake’s romance scene occurs during his side quest A Closer Look, when you go to find him after spying on his father in the quest Distant Shadows.
Crake’s Questline: The Firebrand > Under Watchful Eyes (optional) > Taking Back What’s Mine (optional) > Shadows in the Woods > Where Loyalty Lies > Old Friends, New Friends (optional) > What Hunts the Night > What Moves the Dead > Who Pulls the Strings > Distant Shadows (optional) > A Closer Look ( The Manumit)
When you encounter him, you want to pick the following options to make sure that you earn the trophy/achievement 
The Manumit:
- May I join you, then?
- I’m worried about you. What’s wrong?
- I know what this is about.
- Ascar is your father.
- Why?
- Hey. Nothing you say can change the way I see you.
After this the next dialogue determines whether you engage in the romance scene.
