Blood of Dawnwalker Lost Blood Walkthrough

Lost Blood is a side quest in The Blood of Dawnwalker. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Lost Blood side mission.

Find the letter’s author in Silberstein
Talk to the Silberstein merchant about what you found
Wait until the merchant reopens his shop
Go back to the merchant

Starting Location: Lost Blood

Investigate the cart using Focus Mode

To start this quest, approach the destroyed cart directly north of the Pilgrim’s Trail Shrine in St. Tyna’s Grove, then use Focus Mode (L2/LT) and inspect the parts of the destroyed cart.

Find the culprit

Your goal is to figure out who destroyed the blood cart.

Follow the blood trail using Focus Mode

You can then use Focus Mode to spot a blood trail leading to the west.

Investigate the cave using Focus Mode

Continue following the blood trail until you reach a cave just south of the path.

Kill the monster

Inside you’ll find a murohn, defeat it to continue.

Search the monster’s corpse

Once it is dead, search the murohn to obtain the Mysterious Ring, along with a Phial of Ambrus’s Blood which you can consume to unlock the Scarlet Shield Vampiric power.

You will also need to pick up A Letter From Father from the ground in the cave.

Find the letter’s author in Silberstein

Now during the day, you will need to enter Svartrau to find the letter’s author. They are the merchant in the southeastern area, the same one that is where the entrance to the manumit hideout is located.

Talk to the Silberstein merchant about what you found

Speak with the Silberstein General Trader and choose the option “The symbol behind you looks familiar.” > “I found a ring with your family’s emblem.”

Wait until the merchant reopens his shop

After speaking with the merchant and explaining what happened, you will need to wait at least one in-game day (16 time segments) before you can speak with them again.

Go back to the merchant

After at least a day has passed, go speak with the merchant again to complete the quest.

This finishes Lost Blood side quest in The Blood of Dawnwalker.
