Blood of Dawnwalker Song of the Mountain Walkthrough

Song of the Mountain is a side quest in The Blood of Dawnwalker. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Song of the Mountain side mission.

• Questline: A Friend Like This > Song of the Mountain > Hive and Seek > Our Rotten Roots > The Night of Horrors ( Misery Loves Company) > Midnight Reckoning (Ending)
• Quest Description: We know where the uriash village is and how to get there. We should head on over there and ask their Elder about the whereabouts of Isbrand, Brencis’s sire. He may know the knyaz’s weaknessess we can use when we strike.

Objectives:

1. Find out where Isbrand is
2. Meet Lacra near the Crown Rock at night
3. Climb the mountain with Lacra following the windchimes
4. Follow the Elder

Starting Location: Song of the Mountain

Find out where Isbrand is

The goal of this quest is to find out where Isbrand is located, by making your way to the uriashi village.

Meet Lacra near the Crown Rock at night

You need to meet Lacra at Crown Rock at night. This objective marker visual says it has a time limit on it, but it does not seem to fail based on just passing time in-game.

When you meet Lacra she offers to go drain a nearby shepherd before starting off. You can do this or talk her out of it, it doesn’t have a larger effect on the rest of the quest.

Climb the mountain with Lacra following the windchimes

Once you ready, start climbing the mountain to the east. You can use Focus Mode (L2/LT) to spot the wind chimes which signify the path upward.

There are a few spots along the path where you will need to use Planeshift to climb up walls to progress.

Once you reach the top, you will be stopped by the uriash guards. Depending on how you respond Lacra may force you into a fight with them, but this can be avoided for a much more peaceful overall resolution. If you do end up fighting them you have to kill all of the uriash in the village to progress, and then lose out on multiple vendors along with the A Mother’s Plea quest, so resolving the issue peacefully it highly recommended.

When the dialogue options appear, you can choose the following to avoid fighting:

• All right, fine.
• Lacra, calm down.
• Nobody needs to die.
• Can we stop with the hostilities?
• What do you mean?
• What more proof do you need?
• [do nothing]
• [do nothing]
• It’s clearly a test. Go on.

Follow the Elder

After withstanding their test, you can follow the elder into the village, where they will give you information about Isbrand’s location.
