Between the Words is a side quest in The Blood of Dawnwalker. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Between the Words side mission.

- Quest Description: Together with Anca, I managed to find the forbidden books deep below the haunted convent. Now I have to se if they hold the answers I seek.

“Let’s go. I’m ready” / Study the forbidden books with Anca
This quest begins immediately after finishing “Echoes of Silenced Bells” and when Anca says to gather the books, if you choose “Let’s Go. I’m ready”, you will immediately start this quest and travel automatically to the Crossroads Inn. Otherwise you’ll have to travel there manually later. Speak with her at the inn and say “Let’s go through the books from Tyna’s” to start.
Prepare a Warm Drink for Anca (Optional, 1 Time Segment)
Head over to the south side of the inn and inspect the pot and herbs on the table to make Anca a nice tea. It’s the little things that matter.
Browse Through the Books With Anca (1 Time Segment)
Examine the table full of books in front of her. The lower left one, Sancti Mihai Historia Vera, appears to be blank inside. Anca is intrigued and asks you to bring it over.
Bring the intriguing book to Anca
Looking closely at the book with the candle causes the text to reappear from the heat. Anca says it must have been written in invisible ink, and urges you to keep going.
It reveals that St. Mihai actually fought vrakhiri, and that his story has been purposely concealed. His sword was magic and cut through evil like cobwebs, and that his body and belongings were buried in Svartrau and not lost as most believe. Anca says she doesn’t know where St. Mihai was buried but she’s certain that a former monk named Albertus would be an expert on the history of Vale Sangora. Anca tells you to look for him sleeping on the streets in the Middens. Then after some truly awkward flirting, she sends Coen on his way.
This finishes Between the Words side quest in The Blood of Dawnwalker.
