- Quest Description: People say that it’s never a good idea to go towards the sound of shouting. But when I overheard some commotion in an alley in Svartrau, my curiosity was piqued.

Starting Location: Trouble With Silver
This quest begins automatically as you approach the altercation between a woman and a city guard.
Investigate the Commotion (2 Time Segments)
When you are close enough, you’ll overhear the conversation and learn that the woman has a silver keepsake and the guard is trying to confiscate it and arrest her. If you say “Staying out of it” the soldier will arrest the woman and take her away, ending the quest. If you say “Enough. You leave her alone” or “Just give him what he wants”, you will end up in combat with the guard.
Defeat the Soldier
Fight and kill the soldier, and you’ll learn that the woman was lying, and she just wanted to sell the silver to stay alive. Since she can’t find a vendor that deals in silver, she offers it to you at the low price of 50 denarii. Whether or not you buy the silver brooch, the quest will be complete. Loot the guard, and get away from the crime scene! You can resell the silver brooch to the Silver Trader in Svartrau City.
