Blood of Dawnwalker Taking Back What’s Mine Walkthrough

September 2, 2026 by Jack McBastard Leave a Comment

Taking Back What’s Mine is a side quest in The Blood of Dawnwalker. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Taking Back What’s Mine side mission.

  • Starting Location: Briar Sloughs / Stoneward Post
  • Quest Giver: N/A
  • Requirement: This is a sub-quest of “The Firebrand“. Talk your way into Stoneward Post having surrendered your weapons, then enter combat while still inside
  • Fail State: N/A
  • Reward: Your weapons
  • Time Required: N/A
  • Quest Description: When I entered Stoneward Post, my weapons were taken from me. I need to reclaim them.

Objectives:

  1. Retrieve your weapons

Starting Location: Taking Back What’s Mine

This is a sub-quest of “The Firebrand“. Quest automatically begins whentalking your way into Stoneward Post military camp and choosing to surrender your weapons.

Retrieve Your Weapons

This side quest only comes about if you’ve entered Stoneward Post by talking your way past the guard at the front gate, as long as you’ve chosen to surrender your weapons. If you had said “I… I want to enlist”, and then when asked to surrender your weapons you had said “What? A soldier without a weapon?” you’ll be permitted to keep your weapons, and this quest will never occur. It will also not occur until you enter combat while your weapons are still in the possession of the soldiers.

The weapons are stored in a chest in a room over the main gate, accessible by a ladder on the north side of the gate. Climb up, enter the room, and loot that chest to complete this quest.

This finishes Taking Back What’s Mine side quest in The Blood of Dawnwalker.
