Blood of Dawnwalker How to Shapeshift (Turn into Wolf)

In The Blood of Dawnwalker you can shapeshift to turn into a wolf. This allows you to run much faster, which is great for map exploration as there are no rideable mounts.

To unlock the Shapeshifting ability, go to any  Shrine (Fast Travel Point) > click on “Perks” > in Vampirism skill tree buy the bottom right skill “Shapeshift”.

Then run and press L3 (Left Stick) to turn into a wolf. This only works at night! At day you can’t Shapeshift, but there’s a similar skill in the Witchcraft skill tree called “Mercurial Fervour” that lets you run fast at day.

Note that you can’t fight in wolf form, you can only use it outside of combat to run faster. You also take reduced fall damage while in wolf form.
