Final Fantasy 7 (VII) Remake All Johnny Incidents Locations

April 7, 2020 by PowerPyx 11 Comments

Final Fantasy VII Remake has 5 Johnny Incidents. This guide shows all Johnny Incident Locations in Final Fantasy 7 Remake for The Johnny Experience trophy.

You can still get all Johnny Encounters via Chapter Select after beating story, so nothing is missable. The first is unmissable from the story, the others are tied to Discovery Events and Side Quests.

Johnny Incident #1
Chapter 3 / Objective: A Job Well Done / Area: Residential Area – After you’re all done with the side quests, the next main objective marker leads you back to Seventh Heaven Bar. Outside you find a large crowd of people, when you get close to them a cutscene plays where you see Johnny for the first time. This is actually unmissable because it’s a main objective.

Johnny Incident #2
Chapter 9 / Objective: To Corneo’s Mansion / Area: Wall Market  – Head down the road south of Chadley and you will see Johnny running away from you (purple discovery icon). Chase after him and talk to him (in the dialogue I choose “Yeah” to agree with him).

Johnny Incident #3
Chapter 9 / Side Quest: The Party Never Stops / Area: Wall Market – Complete Side Quest “The Party Never Stops” (click quest link for unlock requirements). This quest makes you run around Wall Market with Johnny. I also talked to him in front of every quest objective / quest building (though it probably doesn’t affect it counting for the trophy).

Johnny Incident #4
Chapter 14 / Side Quest: Tomboy Bandit / Area: Sector 5 Undercity Station – Accept and complete Johnny’s Side Quest “Tomboy Bandit“, which starts at the train station.

Johnny Incident #5
Chapter 14 / Side Quest: Tomboy Bandit / Area: Sector 5 Undercity Station – After completing Johnny’s Side Quest “Tomboy Bandit“, bring back his purse to him. This is the last Johnny Incident.

That’s all of the Johnny Incidents in FF VII Remake. After Johnny runs off in the 5th Incident you immediately get the trophy The Johnny Experience.

For all other Collectibles and anything needed for 100% completion, check out the Final Fantasy VII Remake Wiki & Strategy Guide.

I’d just like to say that I am -fairly- confident that I did all of these on my first playthrough, and the trophy never popped for me.

I don’t ever recall doing “The Price of Thievery” side mission. I definitely completed all the events at Wall Market with Jonnny, and the “Tomboy Bandit” quest, and handed Johnny back his purse, and never got a trophy for it :/

So I’m not really sure where I went wrong, or if it bugged out on me? I was lucky enough to play this before release date, and all my trophies synced on official release.

Did you also do all other side quests by any chance?
I had done ALL possible 24 quests on my first run when Johnny trophy popped. But those listed in the guide are the only ones with Johnny actually in them.

My only idea would be trying to do all other side quests too (except the Price of Thievery, this I didn’t do).

Yes, I had 24/26 side quests completed on my first playthrough. I made sure I did every single side quest that was available to me in each of those chapters, and I distinctly remember on that playthrough I had Tifa wearing the exotic dress, Aerith had the red dress and Cloud got the Black/Blue dress (which is all to do with x amount of side quests completed iirc?)

Yeah I will try doing the other side quests next time and see what happens I guess, otherwise I will have to re-do it for a third time I imagine..

Same with me. I am pretty sure I did everything (and by chance I did the party never stops, because on my first play through I never read guides or whatever) and the trophy did not pop up!

    Hello,
I just want to let you know that this trophy is still attainable if you said “no” and disagreed with Johnny in Wall Street – I disagreed with him and still got the trophy! Just an FYI for anyone wondering.
I can also confirm you don’t have to talk to him outside every shop in Wall street (when you’re following him around) – I didn’t and still got the trophy.
    Also thanks for the guide!

Hi, If I did half of the incidents on a separate playthrough will it still count when I do the rest on hard mode?

I did all in 1 playthrough. I wouldn’t risk doing only half, better to do all in the same playthrough, that’s what I can 100% confirm to work at this time.
If you want to take that chance feel free to report back how it went 🙂

Trophy glitched on me. Have all 24 of the quests done, did the right ones. I didn’t realize I had to go back to the station and talk to Johnny, so I worked on another quest before I went back and talked to him. Maybe that is what glitched the trophy. Very odd and annoying.

Apparently I missed Johnny Event 2, got the trophy now.

So if i miss sonething do i have to repeat the whole quest when i finish the game thru chapter select ? Or what ?

I realized I missed one incident. I can confirm that chapter select, do the incident that you missed, is enough for the trophy to pop, no need to redo them all!
