Final Fantasy 7 (VII) Remake Tomboy Bandit Walkthrough

Tomboy Bandit is a side quest in Final Fantasy 7 (VII) Remake. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Tomboy Bandit Side Mission (Odd Job).

Tomboy Bandit becomes available in Chapter 14 after the first scene at Aerith’s House.

Mission Info: Kyrie has stolen Johnny’s Wallet, and he wants it back. According to Johnny, Kyrie ran off in the direction of the church.

Objectives:

• Head to the church
• Head to the Colosseum and defeat the Hellhound
• Return to Kyrie

Starting Location: Tomboy Bandit

Head to the church and confront Kyrie

First you need to head to the church. Either run there or if you’ve finished ‘Chocobo Search‘, just use the fast travel point next to Johnny and pick the church. Go inside and talk to Kyrie, who is admiring Aerith’s flowers. If you haven’t accepted the Side Quest “Corneo’s Secret Stash” yet, you will find Damon in front of the church who gives this quest automatically now.

Head to the Colosseum and defeat the Hellhound

Kyrie won’t give up the key you need from her for free. She wants you to defeat Shinra forces she’s scared of. Head over to the Colosseum in Wall Market and select ‘Special Match’ from the Gatekeeper. You’ll face the Hellhound and the Beastmaster. The Beastmaster can be slain with a couple of physical attacks, but the Hellhound is a formidable foe. It has two flames, red and purple. To extinguish the red, use your strongest Ice magic and to extinguish the purple, hit it with your strongest Cure magic. By this point, it will be Staggered so use this opportunity to hit it with as many physical attacks as you can. It will then become enraged, hitting you with some heavy attacks. Prepare to guard and dodge to avoid these before repeating the cycle above. It’ll go down after a couple of Staggers. If you happen to have Blizzaga (tier 3 Ica Materia) you should be able to stagger the enemy with it in one hit.

Return to Kyrie

Return to Kyrie in the church (go automatically otherwise you have a long trek) and she’ll reward you with the Corneo Vault Key and Johnny’s Wallet. A purple Discovery Event will now pop up at the Train Station on Johnny. Head there to give him back his wallet, which counts as the last encounter needed for The Johnny Experience trophy (saw all Johnny Incidents). After that you can return to the church to talk to Mireille and continue with Corneo’s Secret Stash.

This finishes Tomboy Bandit side quest in Final Fantasy VII Remake.
