The Mysterious Moogle Merchant is a side quest in Final Fantasy 7 (VII) Remake. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the The Mysterious Moogle Merchant Side Mission (Odd Job).
The Mysterious Moogle Merchant becomes available in Chapter 8 after the ‘Escort the Children’ main objective is complete.

Area: Sector 5 Slums – Children’s Secret Hideout
Quest Giver: Moggie
Requirement: Complete ‘Escort the Children’ main objective.
Reward: Moogle Membership Card, HP and MP restored.
Mission Info: Cloud meets Moggie, a Moogle superfan who’s willing to trade items for Moogle Medals. Use Moogle Medals to become an official member of the Moogle Emporium.

Buy the Moogle Membership Card
As soon as you talk to Moggie, he’ll take you to the shop inventory screen where you’ll be given the option to purchase a Moogle Membership Card for one Moogle Medal. You should have a whole stack of them by now from smashing crates throughout the story, so go ahead and buy it and the quest is done.
Whilst you’re here, it’s worth buying the ‘Graveyard Key’ for 1 Moogle Medal since you’ll need it for a later side quest “Paying Respects“. It will save you some backtracking if you buy it now.
