Blood of Dawnwalker The Hedgehog Herb Walkthrough

The Hedgehog Herb is a side quest in The Blood of Dawnwalker. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of The Hedgehog Herb side mission.

Investigate the house and its surroundings using Focus Mode
Question the corpse using items of importance
Plant the seed in the house
Wait for a day
Check on the plant
Make a razkovniche potion
Ask Anca to make the potion
Ask the Silberstein medic to make the potion

Starting Location: The Hedgehog Herb

Investigate the house and its surroundings using Focus Mode

In the town of Oghasti, there is a house where you can find a new quest marker, and inside a body that you can use Compel Soul on. You’ll want to pick up the items nearby to use on them, first outside the front door is an axe on the ground.

To the right side of the house is a watering can.

Inside the house grab the Razkovniche Potion Recipe off the wall on the right, which unlocks the Razkovniche Elixir recipe.

Then inspect the small box in the middle of the room, then inspect the front of the box and the seeds inside.

Question the corpse using items of importance

You can then use Compel Soul on the corpse on the bed in the house. Use each of the items you picked up to gain information.

Plant the seed in the house

You can then interact with pot on the opposite side of the house to plant a Razkovniche seed.

Wait for a day

You now need to wait for a full in-game day (16 time segments) for the plant to grow, you can go do other activities and come back whenever you have time after this time elapses whenever you are ready.

Check on the plant

After at least 16 time segments have elapsed, you can come back and check on the plant, and harvest it.

Make a razkovniche potion

You have a few options now for how to make the potion. Consuming the potion permanently increases your Human by 20% and Vampire health by 10%. Whether you choose to do it yourself or ask someone else to do it doesn’t really matter, you can just have someone else do it if you don’t have the other two ingredients. If you make it yourself it doesn’t cost the extra time segment asking someone else to do it costs.

If you have the ingredients yourself already (1x Strong Ancient Reagent, found in Ancient Ruins + 2x Tatzelwurm Glands, found by killing Tatzelwurms) then you can just make it yourself.
