The Price of Magic is a side quest in The Blood of Dawnwalker. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of The Price of Magic side mission.

- Quest Description: On my travels, I stumbled upon a disturbing picture – the site of an unfinished ritual and a dead body. What the hell happened? And should I investigate or run away as far as possible?

- Investigate the stone circle using Focus Mode
- Complete the ritual to create a defensive charm
- Defeat the spectres
Starting Location: The Price of Magic
Investigate the stone circle using Focus Mode
To start the quest, approach the unmarked stone circle that is directly southwest of The Swamp Menhirs Shrine. It must also be daytime for you to be able to finish this quest.
In this area there is a dead body you can use Compel Soul on. First, look around the circle to grab the items that you can use on it. First the pendant directly beside it.
The note and torch behind the central pillar.
The book De Vocatione et Ligatione to the right of the pillar.
And the Bracelet directly in front of the pillar.
You can then use Compel Soul on the body in front of the pillar, using each of the items you picked up.
Complete the ritual to create a defensive charm
You can then interact with the central pillar to use Astral Communion to start the ritual.
Defeat the spectres
This will cause a number of enemies to appear in the area, defeat them to complete the quest and receive the Mysterious Bracelet.
This finishes The Price of Magic side quest in The Blood of Dawnwalker.
