Cursed Symbols are a type of Collectible in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla (ACV). This guide shows where to find all 46 Cursed Symbol Locations in AC Valhalla. They are needed for the Completionist All the Way trophy or achievement (100% Completion).
Cursed Symbols (or Curse Symbols) count as Artifact Collectibles. On the world map they are marked by this icon: 
. You can still access all regions after the story to find them.
Cursed Symbols will corrupt the environment around them, making it look black and washed out. By finding and destroying the Curse Symbol you will clean the area. Just finding the Curse Symbol isn’t enough, you must also destroy it. The easiest method is shooting it with a light bow. Make sure you always have enough arrows in your quiver when searching for them (if you run out of arrows, you can cycle between different bow types because each uses their own separate arrows). Destroying 10 of the Curse Symbols unlocks the Dreamcatcher trophy or achievement. They are also needed for 100% completion in all regions.

Cursed Symbol #1
This Cursed Symbol can be found in the West of the region, just east of Tonnastadir. In the misty entanglement of branches, trees, and fence posts, you can find the symbol hanging in-between two trees towards the central part of the area.
Cursed Symbol #2
The next Cursed Symbol can be found in the centre of the region, just North of the Ragnarsson War Camp. The symbol is found within a burned-out building, which you can’t access. Instead, climb onto the roof and aim through the gaps in the woodwork to hit the symbol.
Cursed Symbol #3
This symbol can be found in the South-West of the region, West of the Alcestre Monastery. The symbol is in a small muddy area filled with poisonous gas. In the centre of this area is a well. Stand on top of it and swing your weapon until you break the wooden cover. You will then drop down to an alcove, which has the Symbol.

Cursed Symbol #4
This artifact is north of Farnningstone, just next to a large lake. The Cursed Symbol can be found hanging in the large tree in the centre of the memorial. After following the path up to the tree, look to your right and up to find the red Cursed Symbol above a corpse hanging from the tree.
Cursed Symbol #5
This next artifact is another Cursed Symbol and it is found at the south of the region, just North-West of Walden. Embedded into the hillside, you will find a cave which has been dug out. Destroy the door ahead and squeeze through the gap behind it to find the cursed symbol on your left.
Cursed Symbol #6
The next Cursed Symbol can be found along the Eastern border of the region, just east of Middelrun. The hut with the symbol is in the middle of a poisonous swamp, so once you reach the area, follow the wooden walkway to find a board which will allow you to climb up to the hut. Once you climb up, enter the hut through the door by destroying it and shoot the Cursed Symbol inside.

Shoot the shrunken head, up high in a tree.
Cursed Symbol #8
The entrance to the Cursed Symbol area is quite far from its icon, and is located at Grime’s Graves (the blue shield Treasure of Britain icon on the map shown above). Once you reach the room with the Cursed Symbol, drop down into the flooded area below and you’ll see the glowing shrunken head in plain sight.

Cursed Symbol #10
Near two flaming effigies, you’ll find a pit filled with a flammable poison gas. You can light a torch and throw it at the gas to temporarily clear it, but it will return after a few seconds, so move quickly.
At the end of the short path, you’ll find a breakable floor that you can destroy with an arrow.
Drop down, then turn around and shoot the cursed skull in the alcove to destroy it.
Cursed Symbol #11
To reach this cursed symbol, you will have to break down a wall at the top of the path. To get a fire pot, head up the path to the left of the wall. At the top of the path will be a zip line that will lead you to the other small island in this lake, and you’ll land right next to a cache of fire pots. Pick one up and prepare for some platforming. You will have to reach the island with the breakable wall without falling in the water or breaking the pot.
Turn to the north and you’ll see a rope stretched between poles, just above the water. Run across the rope, then turn left.
Jump across the platforms to another pole that has a rope stretched out to the west which dips below the waterline. Luckily the rope is still close enough to the surface to prevent you from dunking the fire pot.
Jump across to a half sunken rooftop and run to the other end, then jump to the platform next to the roof. stretching off just below the waterline to the south.
Jump across to the square raft, then turn left and jump across to the pole sticking out of the water, then to the pole after it. Look down from this pole, and you’ll see a rope.
Follow this rope through the water, and you’ll automatically transition to another rope about halfway. Keep following the rope until you reach the pole at its end. Look to the left and you can jump across to a log which will allow you to jump to the first island again.
Toss the fire pot at the wall to destroy it, then shoot the cursed symbol behind the wall to destroy it.
Cursed Symbol #12
There will be a narrow entrance to the cavern where the cursed object hides. Immediately after entering, look to your right to see a cache of fire pots. Pick one up and follow the passage.
Almost immediately you will see a cloud of flammable gas. If you carry the fire pot into one of these pockets of gas, it will explode. So place (not throw!) the pot on the ground, get out a torch and throw it at the gas to burn it away. Then pick up the fire pot and keep going.
You’ll have to put it down twice more to clear gas pockets, but after that you’ll have a clear path to destroy the breakable wall at the end of the passage.
Once the wall is down, shoot the object to destroy it.

Cursed Symbol #13
To reach this symbol, climb up the poles just outside the hut below, and jump across to the rope that is stretched across the area.
Follow the rope to the Y of the tree, then jump across the two poles.
Then turn right and jump across to another pole. Climb to the top and you’ll be able to reach the platform with the cursed symbol.
Cursed Symbol #14
The cursed symbol is inside a house with a locked door. Find the key to the north, inside a cave with a creepy doormat.
Unlock the door and destroy the symbol.

Smash the well covering here and drop down to find the cursed object.

Cursed Symbol #16
This cursed object can only be targeted when standing on the top of a nearby pole.
Cursed Symbol #17
This cursed symbol is on a wooden platform on top of a tree. Getting to a vantage point where you can get high enough to shoot it is a bit of a challenge. There are poles with ropes criss-crossing the area, but they all have sharpened spikes on the sides that prevent you from climbing them. The key are the shorter poles around the edge of the circle that are small enough to climb. The one that you’re looking for is to the east of the circle. Climb up and walk along the rope.
Go through the tree branches onto another rope, then continue over another branch until you reach a large tree than you have to climb through. Go straight through onto another branch until you can hop to the top of another pole.
Follow the rope to the north, then transfer to the rope heading east.
When you’re about halfway to the end of the rope, jump down to a rope below you that is heading south. Follow that rope, then transfer to the rope heading south.
This rope will end at a pole. Climb to the top of the pole and turn around. You will just barely be able to shoot the skull from here.
Cursed Symbol #18
Grab a fire pot from the ground nearby, and walk up the tree that is sloped at an angle towards the symbol. Toss the pot at the center of the altar to destroy it. If the first pot only destroys the rubble covering it, grab another pot and repeat.
Cursed Symbol #19
Climb up on top of one of the tall stones to be able to destroy the symbol on top of this tree. If you’re having trouble hitting it, use an incendiary arrow (needs Ability #27: Incendiary Powder Trap).

Cursed Symbol #20
This Curse Symbol is hidden behind a wooden barricade, under one of the rocks in the pond. Just be quick, otherwise the poison in the air might kill you.
Cursed Symbol #21
At the location, use the lift to go up. Then, shoot the Cursed Symbol.
Cursed Symbol #22
Go to the back of the house and break the wooden part of the wall to enter and grab the key from the upper level. Then, unlock the door, grab an oil jar and head for the adjacent house. The door is open. Blow up the wall and destroy the Cursed Symbol. Alternatively, if you possess the Ability, you can use an Incendiary Arrow on the pit.

Shoot the barricade and move the platform to find this Cursed Symbol.

This Cursed Symbol is in a cage hanging from one of the tree branches. Shoot it from the location below.

This Cursed Symbol is in a poisoned pit. Equip a torch from your inventory and throw it at the poison fog. Then, climb down, move the corpse, then the obstacle to reveal the Cursed Symbol.
Cursed Symbol #27
Near the Artifact’s icon is an access point that leads under ground. Go below and move the obstacles to reveal this Cursed Symbol.
Cursed Symbol #28
This Cursed Symbol is perched on a nest. Use one of the nearby branches to shoot at it. The location of the branch you need to be on top of is in the screenshot below.

There’s a cursed symbol inside a well that has poisonous fog coming out from it.

Cursed Symbol #31
At the location, shoot one of the ice layers and go under water. Now use your Odin’s Sight and swim in the direction of the key in the area (you will probably see two keys, but only one is accessible for now). Swim back up and climb down the stairs to unlock the door and destroy the Cursed Symbol

Climb the fallen tree in the picture below to aim at the Cursed Symbol and destroy it.

The first artifact can be found in the North-East corner of the region. On the hill, next to the house with the symbol, you can find two keys, pick both of them up, although, you only need the by the camp. Now, head inside the house and destroy the symbol.
Cursed Symbol #34
This Cursed Symbol can be found in the West of the region. At this location, you will see a cave embedded into a hillside. Turn around and shoot the symbol above the entrance to cleanse the area.
Cursed Symbol #35
This artifact can be found in the East of the region, just outside of Glowecestre. Look up, in-between the branches of the central tree to find the Cursed Symbol.

Cursed Symbol #36
This Cursed Symbol can be found in the North-West part of the region. At the waypoint location, you will see a cave. Head inside and move the rock blocking the way large pile of rocks from being moved. Once moving that, continue onwards and look at the symbol up on the ledge. Shoot it to destroy it.
Cursed Symbol #37
The area has a large circular structure. Climb up it and jump inside. climb up to the top platform of the outer ring of the building and follow it around clockwise. Jump to the platform instead of going down the stairs and then head down to the door at the bottom, which has the symbol sat next to it.
Cursed Symbol #38
This Cursed Symbol can be found at Minninglow, in the central south of the region. At the location shown on the maps below, you will find two caves embedded into the hill. Head down the left one. On your way, you will see a key. Pick that up and continue onwards, using that key to open the door. Behind the door, you can find the Cursed Symbol on a platform. Hop up to the platforms on your right to see it and be able to shoot at it.

Cursed Symbol #39
The first Artifact in this region can be found on the island in the South of the region. At this location, you will see a small island in the middle of a lake. Swim onto the island and climb onto the wooden posts holden up the piece of fabric. Jump to the rope connected to the central platform up in the tree and shoot the Cursed Symbol.
Cursed Symbol #40
This Cursed Symbol can be found in the North of Hamtunscire, just North-West of Readingum Abbey. On the hill, there will be a group of stones and a large pool of blood. Next to this pool of blood, there will be a body and a rock which you can move. Move the body and then the rock to get access to the Cursed Symbol behind it.

Cursed Symbol #41
Enter the church and climb up the tree until you can’t go no further. Aim at the cursed symbol found behind the wooden barricade.
Cursed Symbol #42
Start by going to the location below. From here, you should see a small hole in the wall. Shoot an explosive arrow through it to blow up the wall on the other side. Reach the other side to reveal the artifact.
Ireland – Connacht
Cursed Symbol #43
There is no climbing for this Cursed Symbol which is nestled on a platform halfway up the tree; you can simply shoot it from the ground in front of the tree.
Cursed Symbol #44
Climb onto the wooden platform 17m above the Symbol and look down into the pit where you can shoot it.
Ireland – Ulster
Cursed Symbol #45
The path to this Symbol is a little more complicated then the others. Firstly, you can’t shoot it from outside the trench with spikes, so you need to find the entrance. This is about 70m west of the symbol, shown below.
Then, once you enter the trench, turn right and follow the path around until you can take a left. Follow this path until you reach a ramp with wooden shields resting against it, and use that ramp to jump up to another ledge.
As soon as you hit the top of this ledge, look to your left and climb the pole and run across the tightrope.
Drop down, look to your left and go out onto the next tightrope where you can get a view of the Symbol to shoot it.
To get out of this area, go back to the center camp area and find the zipline down to the entrance.
Cursed Symbol #46
To get this one, you need to climb up the large rock adjacent to the northwest of the one the symbol is on. Around halfway up there will be a ledge made from the ruins of half a wooden canoe. Stand on the boat and shoot through the gap in the rocks across the way to destroy the Symbol.
