Assassin’s Creed Valhalla All Flyting Locations

November 8, 2020 by PowerPyx 11 Comments

Flytings are a type of Collectible in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla (ACV). This guide shows where to find all Flyting Locations in AC Valhalla (16 total). They are needed for the Completionist All the Way trophy or achievement (100% Completion). For the Slam Master trophy and achievement you must win all Flytings, so make sure you actually win and them all.

Flytings count as Mysteries. On the world map they are marked by this icon: . You can still access all regions after the story to find them.

Flytings are basically Viking rap battles. Your opponent will throw some insults at you and your goal is to counter with something that rhymes and is related to the topic. So basically don’t switch to unrelated topics that had nothing to do with the previous dialogue and try to make it rhyme. This guide also includes the solution to each Flyting what dialogues to pick.

For a region by region guide of all Mysteries refer to this guide: Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Mysteries Guide

Rygjafylke

Flyting #1: Manning, Fighter of Wolves

Engage in Flyting. The three selections you should pick are:

  • What you make up in muscles, you’re lacking in spine.
  • They seem perfectly placed to give children a scare.
  • No, you’re quite like your arms: just incredibly thick.

Hordafylke

None

Ledecestrescire

Flyting #2: Jungulf

Engage in Flyting. The three selections you should pick are:

  • O, to beat such a braggart will surely be fun.
  • You’re a weakling, a milksop, a cadger, a louse.
  • Your pride is appalling, and your rhyming is worse.

Grantebridgescire

Flyting #3: Fergal the Faceless

Speak to the woman, who gives you a key. Use it on the door to the house next to her and start your duel. In this particular instance, any of your choices will work and you get the same result. If the woman doesn’t spawn you must advance the story further.

East Anglia

Flyting #4: Chadwick, Monger of Gossip

Pick the following options to win:

  • Then you’re speaking to fools, and their knowledge is flawed.
  • And they’re sorely mistaken, I’m known for my might.
  • Then you’ve clearly mishead them, my wit is immense.

Lunden

Flyting #5: Augusta the Cheerful

Pick the following options to win this contest:

  • You’re the picture of elegance, beauty and grace.
  • O, your valour’s the subject of story and song.
  • It is truly a pleasure, my partner’s sublime.

Oxenefordscire

Flyting #6: Hogg the Burly

This Mystery is just outside Oxeneford.

Defeat Hogg the Burly in an easy flyting victory. The responses are fairly obvious:

  1. “You’re barely an insect, a fly that I’ll swat.”
  2. “You’re posessed of a baldness that’s scared off your hair.”
  3. “You’ve the brain of a donkey, to challenge a Norse.”

Sciropescire

Flyting #7: Ove the Scarred

Seek out Ove in Quatford and challenge him. Use the following responses.

  1. And your thick little skull’s fit for grinding my axe on.
  2. Test your might against mine, and we’ll see how you do.
  3. If its fighting you want, I shall take you on now.

True to your word, fight Ove and defeat him to win both the flyt and the fight.

Cent

Flyting #8: Brother Quiescis

This is certainly the weirdest flyting challenge: a monk who has taken a vow of silence. All I’m saying is that Acolyte Alwin is making at least some of this up.

The correct responses are:

  1. Though you speak through another, your writing’s still poor.
  2. Though you choose to be quiet, your folly is loud.
  3. With such drivel to speak, I see why you keep mum.

Lincolnscire

None

Essexe

Flyting #9

Here are the solutions:

  1. For they put all who hear them to sleep.
  2. I’ll defeat you and banish all doubt.
  3. Lend a salve, for your words make me ill.

Suthsexe

None

Eurvicscire

Flyting #10

For this Flyting always pick the first option to win:

  • I must remind you of your mother!
  • Now to look upon you leaves both my eyes in pain.
  • Try saying that again, but uncocking your eyes.

Jorvik

Flyting #11

Here are the solutions:

  1. The one fool that I see here is up on that wall.
  2. Then enjoy while you can, a great fall is at hand
  3. What’s it like feigning hugeness? You’re naught but a gnome.

Glowecestrescire

None

Snotinghamscire

Flyting #12: Stigr The Amorous

This Flyting can be found in the town of Hemthorpe. Stigur, the man you need to talk can be found leaning on the wall outside the house. After you choose to engage in the Flyting the correct combination of response you want are as follows:

  • Yes, with words I’ll ensnare you and put you to bed.
  • I’m as good with my lips as I am with my tongue.
  • While I doubt you can take me, I’ll give you a go.

Once Stigr and Eivor have finished the “engagement” together, you will complete this Flyting.

Wincestre

None

Hamtunscire

Flyting #13: Fenn the Wistful

This Flyting can be found in the centre of the region, just North of the border for Wincestre. Speak to the men outside the house and choose to engage in the Flyting, using the following choices in dialogue

  • “To wear blood is a joy, I’m quite striking in red.”
  • “It is not mine to judge, only fill up the graves.”
  • “To ensure that I’ll sit in Valhalla one day.”

Vinland

None

Asgard

Flyting #14

Solutions:

  1. O’ beware what you ask for, I’ll finish the fight;
  2. I’m as wise as an owl, you’re a fool of a god.
  3. Well, your victory’s not what my visions portend.

Jotunheim

Flyting #15

Here’s the solution

  1. I should like to see you try,
  2. They’re too dull to conquer me,
  3. I grow weary of your squeak.

Ravensthorpe (Your Settlement)

At your settlement in England, there’s a guy called Alvis who also has a “hidden” Flyting that doesn’t count towards the Mysteries and region completion. Odds are you will already have done his flyting in Norway where you first meet him im Rygjafylke. He comes with you to England, then he stays at your settlement. He’s usually found somewhere around your longhouse. He wears black clothes, has black hair, is a middle-aged man. You can also build a house for Alvis in the north of your settlement, after doing that he will spawn there most of the time. If you can’t talk to him, odds are you already did his Flyting in Norway. If you did all other Flytings and the Slam Master trophy didn’t unlock, you are probably missing this Alvis guy.

That’s all 16 of the Flytings in AC Valhalla. Completing all Flytings earns you the Slam Master trophy or achievement.

Alvis can be done before reaching England. It’s kind of like a introduction or tutorial. It is required to reach level 6 Charisma and for the trophy or achievement “Slam Master”

Grantebridge Flyting is not working for me. The woman will not give me the key

I have completed all of these as well as Alvis and the trophy will not pop. Is it bugged?

I have every mystery completed, and every area completed, and I’m missing this trophy and the completionist trophy. Alvin won’t talk to me since I’ve done his flyting, and every mystery is complete.

Same issue for me. I completed all mysteries (only 1 offering missing in asgaard)/artifacts/wealth and I did not get the slam master trophy.

I cannot talk to Alvis in my settlement, as I already flyted with him in Norway.

But good to know that Ubisoft can fix the pink lootboxes within a few days.
