Cent contains 11 Mysteries in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla (ACV). This Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Cent Mysteries Walkthrough will guide you through all Mystery Locations in the Cent Territory. None of the Mysteries are missable, you can still find everything in free-roam after the story. It’s recommended to collect everything as you go through the regions to level up.
Mysteries get marked by blue icons on the world map automatically when synchronizing the viewpoints. Mysteries are side quests and other open world encounters. They include the following types: Cairns, Offering Altars, Flytings, Treasures of Britain, World Events, Legendary Animals, Lost Drengrs, Daughters of Lerion, Animus Anomalies, Fly Agarics, Standing Stones. Finishing all Mysteries is needed to complete all Territories for the Completionist All the Way! trophy or achievement.
Also in this region:
Mystery #1: Treasure of Britain (Mysterious Chessboard Tablet)
This treasure is located in the Cave of Trials shortly after getting Wealth #16 (see Cent Wealth Guide).
Mystery #2: World Event (Red in Tooth and Claw)
A man appears to be surrounded by wild boars and has locked himself in his house. Find the key on a nearby corpse.
Go inside and find the man dead. Read the letter and examine the corpse to finish.
Mystery #3: World Event (The Pardoner’s Tale)
Well if you were waiting for the ‘creepy old man does creepy things’ mission, this is your lucky day. Listen to the old man’s story.
Go to the forest behind him and search for the oak tree. It isn’t hard to find, as it is much bigger than other trees in the area… also freshly corpsed.
Examine all three corpses then examine the soup pot near the foot of the tree, and Eivor will put together what happened to finish the event.
Mystery #4: World Event (Madness of the Stones)
Okay this one broke my brain a little. Eivor discovers a man staring at a circle of stones in the middle of Cent, going a bit crazy trying to count the stones. Never one to shy away from a math problem, Eivor counts the stones.
Not satisfied, the man makes you count again. Sure enough, the number has changed.
Third time’s the charm? Nope. A third, entirely different count.
Then this mission hits you with the M. Night Shyamalan twist ending that really does you in. Remember kids: don’t eat Fly Agaric.
Mystery #5: Standing Stones (Medeuuage Megaliths)
Read the markings on the center stone which show the pattern you’re looking for. Use Odin’s Sight to reveal markings on the standing stones, then simply line them up until they match the pattern. Note that you may have to crouch to get the pattern to line up properly.
Mystery #6: Flyting (Brother Quiescis)
This is certainly the weirdest flyting challenge: a monk who has taken a vow of silence. All I’m saying is that Acolyte Alwin is making at least some of this up.
The correct responses are:
- Though you speak through another, your writing’s still poor.
- Though you choose to be quiet, your folly is loud.
- With such drivel to speak, I see why you keep mum.
Mystery #7: World Event (Pig of Prophecy)
Eivor experiments further with hallucinogens, this time to help him talk to a pig. Scoff maybe, but she gave a pretty good explanation for displacement so I’m giving her the benefit of the doubt.
Talk to the man, drink from the vat, then talk to the pig. You may have to do this more than once to finish the event.
Mystery #8: World Event (The Lighthouse Twins)
Arne and Frode are having a little climbing issue. Climb up and clear the way for Arne to come down.
You will have to lower the top-most ladder for Arne, and kill all the vipers that are on the ledges before he will come down. Talk to him to tell him the way is clear then lead him back to his brother.
Mystery #9: World Event (The Sky Thief)
Climb up to the platform in the tree to talk to a little girl who has lost her ring. It looks like a bird has put the ring in its nest, but the ladder to the platform with the nest is broken. Lucky there are oil jars up there.
A bit overkill, but like Hannibal always said “overkill is underrated”. The ring will drop to the ground, and when you pick it up the girl’s stepmother will appear. Tell her to give the ring to her stepdaughter, then go up and talk to the girl to end the event.
Mystery #10: World Event (Winifred)
A simple task. Talk to the girl who says she needs honey. Go to the indicated beehive, and get some honeycomb. The child will tell you to place the honeycomb on the rock by the tree, then tell you to sit down. Watch and see how this plays out.
Mystery #11: Fly Agaric
Eivor’s drug trip continues! In this hallucination challenge, there are four gates. You’ll notice that a large spiral of floating stones have also appeared.
Walk up the spiral to see the order of the gates to walk through.
Fish (Water).
Corpses (Fire).
Antlers (Earth).
Birds (Air).
That’s 100% of the Mysteries you can find in Cent Region of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla (ACV).
For all other Mysteries check out the complete Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Mysteries Guide. For the other Collectibles in this region check out the Wealth Guide and Artifacts Guide.

On the quest of the mistery stones, there’s a big chance that it will appear a bug where your screen will turn black after speacking for the 3rd time with the man. IF THAT HAPPENS, simply call your mount (your HUD and INTERACTION buttons will still appear on screen) and start running towarss the position of the man. Screen will be back and quest will end
THIS IS A SERIOUSLY STUPID BUG

Pig of prophecy, mystery 7, is bugged for me. Left the area to look underground, came back, and I can’t get the water to give me a second hallucination. Hopefully they patch it.

Mystery 3 the pardoners tale isn’t correct on this list, it says you have to examine the bodies and the soup and that finishes it, you have to examine the three bodies, the soup/meat and then the white blue pot on the left side of the big oak, that finishes it.
