Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Snotinghamscire Mysteries Walkthrough

November 13, 2020 by JoeApsey00 9 Comments

Snotinghamscire contains 15 Mysteries in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla (ACV). This Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Snotinghamscire Mysteries Walkthrough will guide you through all Mystery Locations in the Snotinghamscire Territory. None of the Mysteries are missable, you can still find everything in free-roam after the story. It’s recommended to collect everything as you go through the regions to level up.

Mysteries get marked by blue icons on the world map automatically when synchronizing the viewpoints. Mysteries are side quests and other open world encounters. They include the following types: Cairns, Offering Altars, Flytings, Treasures of Britain, World Events, Legendary Animals, Lost Drengrs, Daughters of Lerion, Animus Anomalies, Fly Agarics, Standing Stones. Finishing all Mysteries is needed to complete all Territories for the Completionist All the Way! trophy or achievement.

Also in this region:

  • Snotinghamscire Wealth
  • Snotinghamscire Artifacts

Mystery #1: Treasure Of Britain

This Treasure of Britain can be found in the North of the region, by Deoraby Soar Cavern. Embedded in the rock here, you can find a cave. Follow the path along and jump up to the platform. Squeeze through the gap and grab the key on the side to open the door. Continue onwards, hopping from platform to platform.

Once at the other end, continue over the statues and hop to the platform over the wall of stalagmites.  Continue through the next door to find the Treasure of Britain sitting on the podium.

Mystery #2: Flyting – Stigr The Amorous

This Flyting can be found in the town of Hemthorpe. Stigur, the man you need to talk can be found leaning on the wall outside the house. After you choose to engage in the Flyting the correct combination of response you want are as follows:

  • Yes, with words I’ll ensnare you and put you to bed.
  • I’m as good with my lips as I am with my tongue.
  • While I doubt you can take me, I’ll give you a go.

Once Stigr and Eivor have finished the “engagement” together, you will complete this Flyting.

Mystery #3: World Event – An Althing For The Half Crown

This world event can also be found in the town of Hemthorpe. In a small alcove, you will see six children having a game and making decisions by sitting on chairs at either side of the area. All you have to do is sit on one of these chairs each time a choice is presented to you. Once you have helped them come to a decision each time the world event will complete.

Mystery #4: Cairn

The next mystery in Snotinghamscire is a cairn which can be found West of Hemthorpe. The area will have a large waterfall coming off of a cliff. Climb all the way up to the top of the waterfall to find the cairn. Interact with it and stack the stones to a combination which holds. One of the combinations for this cairn can be seen below:

Mystery #5: World Event – The Myth in the Mountains

This World Event can be found in the West of the region, far West of Hemthorpe. On the snowy mountain, you will see a small outcrop with some campers on it. Head over and listen to their story. Once they have finished, turn around and go up the mountain. Head to the tree at the top and throw a torch at the scarecrow to set it alight.

Mystery #6: World Event – Stoneman

This World Event can be found in the center of the region, along the Derwent River. Next to the house, you will see a girl who is talking to herself and trying to stack a cairn. Talk to her and stack the cairn for her to the combination below to complete the world event.

Mystery #7: Fly Agaric

The Fly Agaric can be found on the rock, standing above the frozen lake. Upon eating it you will be put against Jotnar-Guld.

Mystery #8: Standing Stones

These Standing Stones can be found embedded within a cliff which wraps around them. The shape you need to put together can be found on the stone in the center of the collection of Standing Stones. If you look at the bottom of the cliff, you will find three ice walls which you can break by attacking. Attack the one in the middle and head inside the cave. Turn your camera around and place yourself about halfway through the cave. Walk around a little until the game zooms into a close camera, at which point you can move the camera to position it correctly and form the shape.

Mystery #9: Standing Stones

These Standing Stones can be found in the center of the region, at the Aescforda Stones. The rock with the symbol on it can be found at the back of the area. The actual shape can be made by hopping to the floating ice on your left, from where the inscription on the rock is. But first, you will need to destroy some ice which is blocking the view. Destroy the ice by walking and jumping to the platform next to it and then swinging your weapon at it. From there, head back and stand in the same spot to form the shape.

Mystery #10: Lost Drengr

This Lost Drengr can be found on the top of a large hill, North-West of Sherwood Forest.

Mystery #11: World Event – A Cordial Invitation

This World Event can be found next to the river in the center of the region, east of Sherwood Hideout. Speak to the man and defeat the enemies that come after you. Talk to the man again to complete this World Event.

Mystery #12: World Event – The Good Men of Sherwood

This Mystery can be found just West of Sherwood Forest. In this area, you will see some people practising their archery skills. Head over and shoot the center of a wooden target on the ground. Next, shoot the vase on the rock above, before aiming for the chicken on the post at the top of the cliff. You will want to aim at the top of the post to hit the chicken. Doing all of this will complete the World Event.

Mystery #13: Animus Anomaly

This Animus anomaly can be found at Briudun Hill, in the East of the region. Head to the anomaly on the path and activate it. Complete the simple platforming challenges to complete it.

Mystery #14: World Event – An Efficient Cremation

This World Event can be found in the southern tip of the region, West of Wenloch Abbey. Talk to the man burning his family and then head behind the building to find an oil jar. Move the stack of clutter out of the way to grab it. Carry it around to the cart and throw it on there to ignite a larger fire. Speak to the man again to learn that he killed them. assassinate the man to complete the Event.

Mystery #15: Offering Altar

The final mystery can be found in the North of the region at the Mam Tor Stone. Head to the altar and offer up 3 Titanium to complete it.

That’s 100% of the Mysteries you can find in Snotinghamscire Region of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla (ACV).

Standing stones mystery actually has 3 ice walls. One left, middle and right. You need to attack the middle wall, not the left one.

The cairn mystery is impossible. Ubisoft seriously needs to nerf it

No it’s not impossible…I’ve done it twice. I may be difficult but it’s just a matter of balancing the rocks

managed it in about 10 mins on my second attempt. seems daunting but not that difficult really. remember that you don’t need to use all the stones

‘A cordial invitation’ seems glitched, no person to talk to

Shoot one of the 3 big round targets at the bottom of the hill and then one of the vases towards the middle of the hill. Dialogue will soon follow and then the last target to shoot is the chicken at the top of the hill. Then it will be completed. Remember there is a time limit but if you’re good with the bow that won’t matter. Hope this helps!
